I have written to AANR about a political situation at Gunnison Beach. This affects parking, that is already in short supply on weekends. It is proposed to lease Fort Hancock for commercial use. Fort Hancock is a former military base, that was closed decades ago. Fort Hancock is only about two blocks from the parking lot of Gunnison Beach. I hope to get AANR involved in the fight to oppose commercial leasing of Fort Hancock.
