I did see my Doctor on Tuesday, May 17th. He is more than pleased with my test results. My sugar reading was 102 which is much below the diabetic level (135). My cholesterol does need some very marginal improvment. There is still plenty of room as far as my weight is concerned but he is more than pleased with my results with my weight reduction so far, since I enrolled in the VA's MOVE program. According to the BMI I had the day before I did lose 28.3 lbs of body fat in 139 days which averages 6.19 lbs of body fat per month. He still wants me to continue with the biglyburide. I do have to return for more lab work and a follow up visit in September (2011). He said that I may be able to at least reduce if not eliminate some if not all my diabetes medication(s). I hope so. He and I are more than convinced that the Orlistat (the Alli type medication) and the testosterone are playing an important role in my journey to better health. I do give myself testosterone shots in my upper leg muscle every other Friday. I will be giving myself another testosterone shot this Friday (May 20th), this time in my right leg.
