missing the boat

crazy day missed the ferry to vancouver by 5 minutes then we might have made the flight but the gps took us on a 15 minute detour and we arrived just as they closed the gaate for our flight... son picks us up no gas in the car and the exit i take for victoria bridge closed...left victoria at 9 am arrived montreal midnight.......
