I was 17, in Cuba, it was my first real social nudism. I walked away from the normal beach, I had brought a bag with a towel, and a book in it, I got past the clothed part and stowed my suit in my bag, I went for a long walk up the beach and passed lots of other people either sunbathing, walking or swimming. I went in for a swim myself, and while I had skinny dipped in lakes in Ontario many times, there was something different about the ocean, it felt amazing, like I was free and floating weightless. I got out from my swim, and found some lounger chairs in the shade, they were unoccupied when I got there. I stretched out and got out my book to start reading, not long after I had started, a couple I had sat near on the plane, walked up to where I was, nude as well and asked if the chairs next to me were taken. They weren't, so they joined me, and we ended up having an awesome conversation about different things, they were a younger couple who had started doing things nude, and just felt really comfortable with each other and others that way. As we were talking, a woman and her husband in their 60's came to our section of chairs and sat down, they were nude as well, and the man (who looked a bit like Carlos Santana) had an acoustic guitar with him. The woman laid out in the sun and read the paper, the man sat on a little outcropping and started playing classic rock on the guitar, things like Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, The Who. The young couple had brought some rum and sprite, so we had a drink and watched the ocean while getting a free concert, all while naked, it wasn't weird or creepy, it felt normal and was a lot of fun. I don't think that I could have had a better introduction to nudism.
