Nothing ventured nothing gained!

I was invited to a group job interview for an office manager position. 2000 people applied for the job, they reduced it to 16 people, only 8 people showed. One of the eight of us was sure to be hired for the position. Sorry to say I did not get the job, but what a confidence booster to be one of the 8 people they interviewed. I am a full cycle medical biller of 18 years, the field is a real pain in the butt, it has changed alot from being a speciality field to a bitchy field. I love the attention to detail, dead lines, dealing with the insurance companies, working with clients and explaining their medical bills, but I'm ready for a career change and I have skills that are extremely transferable so I took and chance and it paid off. I will never regret the day I interviewed with 7 other people for a position.
