Nude at Doctor Visit

Today was interesting. I had an annual physical appointment with my doctor. After I did all of the preliminary check in procedures the nurse had me undress completely and put on a paper gown. I immediately thought the paper gown was a dumb idea but I went ahead and put it on while I waited for the doctor. The doc comes in to start the exam and pretty much removed most of the paper gown except for what is directly over my crotch. He then has me lie down and essentially just pulls the whole gown down so he can examine things. Then he has me stand up and place the gown on the table so he can review my entire body. I felt completely natural and he seemed to as well so it wasn't an issue. Once he was done he said I could put the gown back on which I did but again thought it was kind of silly at that point. We wrapped things up and I was on my way. This was the first exam I've had where the expectation was to be completely nude and I have to say it made the entire examination experience better. I really appreciated the whole body exam because I do have some moles and other spots that I want monitored and I feel like in the past the docs skipped over those areas. How do you dress during your exams?
