On-Line ???

Anybody else notice that even though your still online, often your profile stops showing that you are online?? Does anybody know why this happens or have noticed that it happens? It seems to be there when you "log-in" but after being on for a few minutes your online identification seems to dissappear? At least that is what happens to me.
