Prayer vs Really helping

If you really want to help the people in japan, don't pray for them donate to the red cross. Prayers don't provide food, medical care, shelter or, dig people out of collapsed buildings. Don't get me wrong Praying is appreciated i am sure and, it helps keep people calm and sane to believe there is a overbeing watching their back (and forgetting that the same overbeing according to doctrine caused the disaster in the first place) But in the long run it is very much like fighting a raging house fire with a water pistol. cute and, the effort is noticed but not really helping. Donate to the Red Cross and, other charitable organizations to actually help the people in need
