Provincetown Nude Beach Report

We kayaked out to the nude beach on Saturday. Not too surprising, we were the only nuts out there, as it was cool and raining! We set up on the cove side, out of the wind, and stripped out of our clothes and enjoyed some time. Sadly, I did get cold, and wrapped in a beach blanket... what can I say, I am weak. Note: we noticed ATV tracks in the sand... the dreaded Ranger tracks! Sunday we kayaked back to the nude beach (in heavy fog!, Mother Nature was not going to spoil us this weekend), on our way to Race Point. My co-paddlers had some kayak issues to attend to, so we decided to stop. I stripped and swam, which was heaven! There were a couple clothed beach walkers, so I covered up as they passed. On our return trip, we again stopped at the nude beach, just as the sun made a spectacular appearance! We stripped and set up our beach chairs. There were some people on the beach, and a fair amount of nudists! We sunned, hiked and swam for a couple hours. I did take my suit in hand when I went down to swim, something I have not done in the past. Then, as if magic, the word came down the beach! THE RANGERS ARE COMING! Wonderful to see such unity among nudists! We suited up, and after what seemed some time, indeed a ranger on an ATV drove up the beach and then off and out of sight. He was very cute, and I would have liked to ask him if I could see him naked, but thought better of it! :-) We then heard him on the cove side, where he stopped and waited for a while. Then in super hero fashion, he gunned the engine and flew over the dunes back to the beach, expecting (I assume) to find nudity and debauchery rampant, but we had all remained clothed and well behaved. Off he went down the beach. I considered disrobing once again, but we had to pack our boats and get back to town for dinner. Then next thing I know, there were 2 rangers on ATV'S, but I suspect they did not meet any ticket quotas that day! We were told by a fellow beach guy that nudity carries a $75.00 fine, yet nothing goes on your record. Sex on the beach is $175.00 (not my place to judge, but I suspect we nudists would have less trouble with the authorities if sex was not explored in the dunes), and still nothing on your record. Please don't take this as gospel, as I have no proof that this is actually the case! I know I am preaching to the choir when I say, we were about as far from civilization as we could get, peacefully cohabiting, minding our own business, and naked! Where is the problem here? Hopefully we can outsmart the authorities, and continue to enjoy our naked time on the beach! United we stand! :-) Drew /div /span
