"Spock" churches and "McCoy" churches

I've been to traditional churches and modern-style churches; I've also been to churches about logic-and-study doctrine (the "Spock" type) and a church or two focusing on being passionate about having the Holy Spirit (the "McCoy" type). I've been to a traditional Spock churches and a traditional McCoy one, and I currently attend a modern McCoy-ish gathering/ministry and a fairly well-balanced church of all four quadrants. I am not a member of any one quadrant exclusively of the others. To me, there is a time and place for each and every one of these. People will probably not find me in allegiance to any one church, since I'm not of any one denomination. All who are Christian brothers and sisters I consider to be allies worth joining alongside in worshiping God. None of these is superior to another. I do, however, contend that the four quadrants go deficient in what the other churches focus on. For instance, if it's all "Spock", then where's the passion? People have wondered if these churches are alive at all. If it's all traditional, how will any of it get the modern generation's attention? They have been seen as old-fashioned and not-so-fun. If it's all "McCoy", where's the Bible study and interpretation -- in the original languages, might I add? They're too focused on experience and might fall prey to taking verses out of context without realizing. And if it's all modern-style, where's the vocal beauty and harmony of singing voices that the older days had? These can fall prey to just being entertaining to the crowds, using "motivational speakers" without actual rouses to be transformed... and instruments that drown out lyrics, I must add.In fact, I'm convinces that such overboard in some areas and deficiencies in others are exactly why these denominations should find time to fellowship and worship together. When they come together, they can actually help balance out one another and give to one another some good pointers that they will (hopefully) not forget. Let's have "iron sharpen iron" so to speak. And I think it's quite enough of the implications of each that it is the only church/denomination that follows Biblical example properly.
