Tanning

Ok, so this summer I finally get an allover tan again. Despite being nude outdoors alot. And because of my heritage I turn a sort of red/brown. But what I don't like is all the peeling that happens afterwards and this is extra troubling as I'm sortof a hairy guy. What I'd like to know is, is there a way I can tan, and reduce the peeling factor? I've tried misting, baby oil, sunscreen. Nothing helps.
