Thanksgiving Feast Report, RSVP request for upcoming events

Members arrived from around the Carolinas to attend the Travelites’ annual Thanksgiving Feast. The afternoon was mild and sunny as the deck was enjoyed along with the spacious hot tub and snacks. . There were virtually few if any leftovers if any of the deep-fried turkey, stuffing, homemade whipped potatoes, sweet potato casserole, steamed broccoli, brownies, and black raspberry ice cream. For those who wanted, there was cabernet as well as chardonnay. . We look forward to a super holiday season, but first we’ll be enjoying the annual Lobster Bash/Oyster Roast on Nov. 19th to which we will need RSVPs no later than Monday, Nov. 14. 2-pound lobsters cost $26, and single oysters will cost $9 per person. You can email the funds via PayPal or mail a check to the club. When you RSVP, please let us know what you’ll be bringing to add to the meal. We will have pasta Alfredo available for those who prefer to not eat seafood. . Parts of the meal we will need: Lemons for oysters and lobsters Hot sauce for oysters Vegetable: we already have broccoli Desserts Salad or coleslaw White dry wine in which we steam the lobsters
