Well, I think I can safely say that very few people were surprised that the Rapture and the world wide earthquake didn't happen as Mr. Herold Camping predicted it would. But in the wake of those predictions is a large crowd of people that have been following him for years. Some of them gave up their jobs, sold their homes and personal belonings, cleared out their bank accounts..... all to go help spread the word of the end of the world. The good news is that most of the Christians were right. We said he was wrong and there was no way to set a date and time for the Rapture to happen. The bad news, aside from those poor people that followed Mr. Camping, is that it has left the rest of us looking like fools. We are not put in the same category as Mr. Camping even if we stood out against his teachings. I hope that the members here will be able to seperate the two groups and not include the True Christians into the group that Mr. Camping is in. Right now I'm very concerned about the damage that his "work" has done.
