A couple of week's ago, Cynthia and I made the trip south to De Anza Springs Resort for TNS"s Western Naturist Gathering with a number of other fellow members of the Southern California Naturist Assoc. We all had a great time being nude for 4 days, meeting new friends, reconnecting with old ones, attending many of their workshops, and even leading one. The various workshops covered a wide range of subjects, from serious ones dealing with current state of Social Naturism in all it's various aspects, to ones which had nothing to do with Naturism at all, but were just fun. Nothing like our traditional Pudding Toss to bring out the child in everyone and spread smiles, as well as chocolate, to all! Of course, we also found time to relax in the warm desert sun, when it was there, and cool off in their wonderful pool. All weekend long we had a tropical low circling over us which brought us some warm rain, clouds, and a few thunder and lightning shows like we've never experienced before. At one point it actually knocked out the power temporarily when it struck a transformer in the park. Dave, Helen, and their staff at De Anza were great at dealing with everything the weekend threw at them, including staging a great dance on Saturday night. TNS's Gatherings are always one of the highlights of our nude year and we urge all our friends to try and attend one, whatever part of the country you're in, as they stage them all over, throughout the year. Hope to see you next year at one!
