Tornado damges is pretty bad

The tornado(s) that you have heard about this week hit us pretty badly. We live in one of the worse hit neighborhoods. If you saw pictures of the Prep School that was destroyed, I am about one block from that location It appears the tornado hit the school then came at us. A 100 year old tree behind our house was torn out of the ground but it is what probably saved my home. Our neighbor watched from his window (the fool) and said it passed right over my home. The only damage to the house is a destroyed screen door and our gutter system has been pulled apart, I have no idea where the downspots are. My backyard and gardens are all destroyed, The patio has been ripped up from the roots of the Linden tree that was pulled out by the roots. The tree fell on the neighbors garage which housed his 1963 Corvette. Both the garage and the Corvette have been destroyed as well. His trees fell on the neighbors to his right. Our fence has been badly damaged so no nude backyard activities for a while. The backyard is too dangerous to go into anyway I have been cooking on a grill as we have had no power until this morning (Saturday) So no hot water, no stove, no lights. Finally got hold of my Insurance company yesterday. Our cell phones are almost dead now and we had not connectivity for the first four hours or so. I was told to get all the work done and send them the bills, I am totally covered. Thank God for small favors We have so far suffered about 1/2 dozen deaths and possibly 60 or more injuries, but not here at the house, The worse we have is frayed nerves. Please keep us in your prayers as we climb out of this mess Rick
