What more?

I'd really like to meet a few new people either on the net or live and have interesting discourse but that doesn't seem very easy on here. The chat rooms are a study in incoherance and, as a single guy, I suspect I'm being treated with the utmost suspicion by a large proportion of the members! I'm sincerely interested in making friends here! Help!
