Where do you go in the winter to get some sunshine?

Of course everyone thinks to go to Southern California, Mexico, Arizona, Florida, Texas, Caribbean...does anyone think about going to the mountains to enjoy the sunshine? There are some great places to go that are cold, but sunny enough to enjoy a hot tub and sunshine! Think the high desert of Oregon...some of the mountain spots of Colorado. Any other places you can think of that would be closer to home that you could get to more frequently in the winter and recharge your vitamin D? Someplace like Alpenglow Ranch ? Are there other places you know of?
