Who is behind the TN image approval.

I've had pictures up here for over a year, and now 3 are suddenly removed. I feel that we should at least be provided a description as to why, and a thumbnail of which one. I also don't know whether to take images where "approval gods" think I am possibly turned on as a compliment, or insult. Not cool TN :-(
