Today I pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country and the families who continue to carry that loss every single day. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a reminder that freedom has always come at a cost paid by others. May we never forget those who gave everything so others could experience freedom in all its forms.
