Went for a hike near Richland Center today. Almost 4 miles on the south side of the creek, moved the car, and then over 4 miles on the north side of the creek. No bridges over the creek. Saw two great blue herons, a couple turkeys, a couple deer, another doe with a fawn, cardinals, gold finches, butterflies, and heard quite the variety of song birds. And chatted with one very nice, older gentleman from the area when we crossed paths in my second half. (I was able to cover up before we got too close.)
