TT1 and I (TT2) do read many of the forum topics although we try to stay in the background. I apologize if TT1 seems to have disappeared and many say has “neglected the site”. The opposite is in fact true. He has been busting his butt working around the clock on the new upgraded site, which has many of the bells and whistles that the current site does not. I try to read every forum topic with the heading of ‘This site could be improved by having the following’ because we have listened and the new site has many of the improvements mentioned. The new site is cleaner, more user friendly and we feel that the daily TN user will be very happy. The launch is just around the corner.
New functionality to mention:
1. User will be able to flag pictures
2. User will be able to flag users
3. User will be able to block users
4. There will be improved chat room and forum moderators
5. There will be improved privacy settings, such as you can pick and choose what people can view and you can also control what is visible on search engines
6. User profiles will receive a notification icon when profile receives something
7. Threaded messages
8. More centralized members area
9. There will be an events section
10. International locations , users can suggest new and or modify locations
11. There will be easier moderation and communication
Please be patient. We love how this community has grown and TT1’s goal has always been to keep it a clean site for True Nudists.
With the growth has come more and more work load. That’s where I come in. With TT1 so busy working on the site launch he asked me to take over daily Admin duties. I do hear the complaints about sexual pictures/content getting through and I apologize. I am approving approximately 1,200 pictures daily and unfortunately some sexual pictures do get through undetected. I also hear the complaints about moderators. I read that some think the moderators may or may not have a "higher power”. This is not the case. Chosen moderators are in the chat room to flag any behavior deemed inappropriate by TT1, and believe me these moderators are very much appreciated. We thank you.
This is all for now,
TT2

Great, I have another suggestion. All are welcome to express what they think about it. I am certain most will agree with me.

westheathenAug 5, 2011One suggestion I have for improving the moderation of the chat room (assuming that it can not be guaranteed to be 24/7); would be to have a button in the room that could be pressed and a message sent. This message would go to a communal mailbox and a message sent to the mods (these messages could maybe change colour when the problem has been dealt with. So that the next mod in would see which offences need attention. I have no knowledge of programme writing so consequently no idea if it is actually possible.

Kinda like stepping in a snake pit. Do you chance violating the rules because you *think* the snake might not be there ? Or do you always fly right, whether they are there or not, because they might be ? I'm not so sure I like anyone taking any action based on hear-say.ReactReply - CO
Curt, or CowboyAug 5, 2011Clearly, you and I are in near 100% agreement.

SoupieAug 5, 2011If you are not paying are membership fee, you are getting something for nothing. Why would you feel that you have any right to threaten if you are in that position?

SoupieAug 5, 2011So how would you classify the whole "I'm setting something else up, there will be an alternative soon" talk? I guess it's just bullshit. Wait, I get it. I saw this in an old movie. It's super top secret WW2 spy talk. "The eagle has landed. Await news." Those damn nazis! It took me a while to find my decoder ring.

Whether a person decided to out themselves or not would up to them As for the help aspect the button could also be present in the other areas of the site, and there would be nothing stopping them offering help under their "old" names.ReactReply - CD
Cheri Donna DawsonAug 6, 2011Additionally regarding locations....there are 2 clubs listed in South Carolina that one has been defunct over a year or three, the other 4 and one that is now in its 26th year isn't listed. I have emailed a number of times during my tenure here. Any recommendations would be appreciated either on this thread or via private messaging.

ThomasAug 8, 2011Wolfboy, I do not look at all profiles of the people in chat, don't think most of the moderators do, simply because it would take too much time with so many people in there. Therefore we dont' know a person's age unless they stated it in the room. I don't go by age in my decision to boot or warn, it is strictly based on the offense. I am not saying I oppose younger moderators, in fact one of the moderators is in his 20s.

jasonAug 8, 2011one thing that would be nice to see is when you edit a forum post and click submit, it goes to the forum as it would do for a regular post. when you edit a post and submit it, you get a page not found error page, which seems to now have been upgraded to a truenudists based error page as opposed to the typical browser page error page.

DesertRatAug 8, 2011Thank you for your report to the members. I tell everyone about this site and tell them that it is the best nudist site on the web. It does have a few things that could use some tweaking and I'm glad to hear that some improvements are about to be made. I'm looking forward to seeing the changes that you said were coming. They should go a long way toward settling people's concerns. There are two things that we now have and I'm not sure that they are really needed. One is the most popular nudist section. Do we really it? The other is the number of pics one can post on their site. Does anyone really need to post more than 100 pics on their site? As you may surmise, I am rather happy with the site. Still I am looking forward to the new features.

openman1Aug 12, 2011The complainers and bluenoses and Puritans get WAY too much attention already!! If they don't want to look at photos -DON'T!! Some of us DO! Nudism is all about freedom and tolerance, and the Repressionists need to deal with it, or retreat to AANR. DON'T impose your weird ideas of morality (I'm talking to PI for Christ) on everybody else!

If the site owners want to expand this audience beyond the 60 and over crowd, they better reach an accommodation with those who have a more european view of the world. Slap a rating on the chat rooms and pictures, and let people choose for themselves. THAT is the American way.ReactReply - RE
renebbareAug 12, 2011Nudism is far from being about freedom and tolerance for sex seekers and no-one has complained about photos of a non sexual nature that fall within the guidelines and rules stated for all to read when you upload them.
