How many of us are actively checking in with the flagging recommendations?  I don't want to be the internet police or anything, but there are so many fake profiles that scare away those who seem to be genuinely nice people.

Correct, but bringing this to TT attention did not seem to have the desired effect. Many flaggers just don't bother now!
What it did do was bring the flaggers to the attention of the certified perpetrators! This in turn had some of us banned from viewing said profiles. - sad.

    *sigh*

Another nice young girl just left, too.  She had a tiny little zone of freedom but she was making it work and seemed so excited to find a community - until the community found her.

I have not been here in about 8 months. Guess I became kinda board and i tried out nudist clubhouse for awhile but there is something    I cant explain that I dont like there. I see some things have changed  here and it looks good. Glad to be back to TN. G
EDIT: 2/815 What is going on here?? I see a group for True Swingers, is this a joke? There has always been issues with openly sexual comments and explict photos and always will be I am sure but now groups are apearently okay. Maybe time for me to delete and move on again.

Not sad at all when someone leave this site. It only means "More room for me and my True Nudists Friends". You know, the ones of us who actually pay for the membership. :P

At times I wonder what things would be like if this was a 100% paid site. People would no longer just become inactive. They would have to delete their profiles or else pay up. The trolls and pervs would find it expensive just to hang around and I would have no problem with these people leaving the site.

There are very few 100% paid sites. Most paid sites follow the idea of having profiles created for free, but to contact or be contacted requires paid membership. In that sense TN is good site that it allows many features for non-paying members, which allows newbies and low-budget people an easy access to most essential features of the site. On the other hand, it also seems to encourage a lot of people to create (at least partly) fake profiles. Also the additional features one gets out of paid membership are of questionable value. As a nudie I have seen thousands, more like dozens of thousands, people nude. So if I see few pics more or less of someone doesn't bother me the slightest.

As a website should also generate income, it is for sure understandable that some features cost money. On the other hand, I would like to see also non-certified members to face some more restricted, as now about only things you benefit from certifying yourself is probability to meet more real nudies and see the pics that users have classified as "certified users only". Certified chat is one more feature which has a bit questionable added value.

Another positive feature in TN is the fact you see when person has been online last, and you can browse profiles with rather fine criteria. Though I do miss a category between a "country" and "all" as in Europe browsing country by country or and in case of US, between "state and country", browsing state by state is hard. So possibility to select 5-10 US states or European countries at once would make things easier to browse regions.

The core issue of fakes is difficult, and best way is simply to talk to people and if their profile and way of communicating seem genuine, they probably are genuine. Certification badge increases probability as well.

Someone may also leave the site for particular reasons. I think for instance random friend requests out of the blue - or accompanied with "hi" are weird. At least a couple of sentences should not be too hard to figure WHY someone like to be your "friend"? Another annoying factor is in chat, the private "Hi" opening people send others. As someone with male profile I do not suffer much from that, but profiles with female or couple status are a different story. That definitely fends some people off from the site. Other is people who have not even basic decency.
