A few people have suggested that they would like to see less negative stuff here and at least one person said he wanted to see more activity here....so...how about some light chit-chat? Does anybody have some happy news to report? Here's your chance to tell us about it...

lol...Linda, you're the greatest.  On the lighter side, I do have happy news to report.  My wifes immigration process seems to be moving along at a steady clip.  At first we were expecting her to get here sometime in June or July next year, but with all the disasters in the Phiippines lately,  Immigration Canada is rushing things it would seem and she could be here by Christmas.  w00t!

On the lighter side of nudism, we seem to be getting a chinook in our area and that means warmer temps.  Good news all the way around...now if I could only find a place where I could be nude outdoors without bringing the wrath of the police.... lol

What? None of you can do lighthearted chit-chat? Okay, I'll start it off just to give you an example.   The weather is turning chilly here. I wasn't able to go outside with my clothes off today. This evening my husband and I are going to go to a friends house to watch a television show called Torchwood. It is a spin-off from the Doctor Who series. It's a pleasant way to spend a chilly evening.   Now it'syourturn!

I am so glad to hear it. Now if only the Canadian government would give lessons to their southern neighbor on how to move things along at a faster pace. Hey! It could happen!

Pardon the pun.
That's sounds like the perfect opportunity for an attempt at a conversion. When they're issuing winter survival gear in hell.
Well, I guess we can't have everything. It was worth suggesting.
I would prefer a piping hot plate of Mr. Brain's Faggots, if you please.
It's completely unrelated, of course, but still this reminded me of a line from one of my favorite movies. "Can I eat your brains"? It's from Return of the Living Dead.

This is stepping back a fair way to the sporting comments but I have a question for all you American guys and gals. I was watching a game of American football last night (amazingly at a gay bar) and I noticed some of the players have big black stripes under their eyes. Why? Our hypothesis was that it was to prevent reflections from light and or sun, but then we noticed it's not matt black, it's shiny so that blew that theory. I must know the answer!
For the curious: Main Entry: of·fal Function: noun Etymology: Middle English, from of off + fall Date: 14th century 1 : the waste or by-product of a process: as a : trimmings of a hide b : the by-products of milling used especially for stock feeds c : the viscera and trimmings of a butchered animal removed in dressing : variety meat 2 : rubbish Offal is anything clean that's left over after all the sellable meat has been removed. It's commonly found in pet food (usually listed as "meat byproducts"), and apparently in human food. Ever hear of "bully stick" treats for dogs? Guess what they are. Hint: they don't from the cows.
Offal sounds just awful.

It's also sometimes used in the manner of war paint, as a method of intimidating the opponents. Whether the opponents are impressed is unknown.
I would assume that it depends who is wearing the warpaint. I will guess that most large football player types would not be intimidated if Boy George was standing in front of them with make up on his face. Some might be attracted to him but that's another story, isn't it?
