Temporary title change. Just borrowing the thread as it's in a quiet forum and will stay visible on top of the forum list longer.(((((((((((  Click here to see comments on the Last Page  ))))))))))-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Beachlover241In loving memory of a dear friend  :-)TN just won't be the same without you :(For those of you who don't already know, she is just the latest, in an ever growing line of good female nudists, that has decided that this is -not- a place, for the true nudist.     With the way some guys treat the ladies, and the lack of effective moderation here, it's No wonder that there is such a big gender imbalance.     Still have something to tell you beach, but lost your addy, please write to phi11free.ps. ... Glenn sends his regards ;-)pps. ... Now I also have a message for you from Thomas! ...(Go On! ... Trust me! ... I'm a Doctor!  ... hehe!  ;-)(((((((((((  Click here to see comments on the Last Page  ))))))))))_____________________________________________________________________Inappropriate Pictures and Behaviour.Given that action is only taken when a number of complains are made, Perhaps we should, if we come across an inappropriate picture, bring it to everyone's attention by posting it on this thread, to ensure that the required number of complaints ARE made.   Here is my latest encounter. I have just received this bulletin:  "Q:  Timdog42 (male) has somewhat suggestion picture of a woman's breasts as his profile picture. Is this appropirate on this site? A:  i don't think that the pic being inappropriate is the problem as much is that one's profile pic must be of themselves, and not other people.  since the profile is listed as male, the profile pic should not be of a female.  i would have to agree that the pic being used is inappropriate in the fact that it is not tasteful!"   I agreed, so I put this comment on the pic asking him to remove it.   "I feel this photo is inappropriate for our Naturist site, please remove it. Thanks Phil."   His instant response was to post this comment on my pic:   timdog42   Said at 01/23/2009 15:29:10... "I think you are a fucking homo and take this pic down ahole" I have now flagged him with this comment.   (Re  timdog42. I posted this comment on the pic asking him to remove it: "I feel this photo is inappropriate for our Naturist site, please remove it. there seems to be another single female profile with a questionable photo.  since the photo seems to be a little tasteless to me, here goes that link too.http://www.truenudists.com/profiles/index.php?id=8399i again posted the comment to her photo regarding #3 of the photo guidelines.    and one quick note about ousting people here in the forums, i don't think the kind of people we are trying to get rid of actually read the forums little alone post to them.they don't even read the photo guidelines!

For what it's worth, my two cents says that pics of members who are clad in lingere are inappropriate. Message them and ask them to voluntarily remove the offending pic, and if they don't, spread the word about who it is and flagg them. ~ Lauri

Thanks to all who have joined in on the flagging.  I have taken a little heat in the past from someone being inappropriate in chat, but like Phil said, rude remarks from someone like that doesn't bother me.  Some people already know that if I am in chat I will flag the offender also.  I have seen a lot of profiles disappear from here because several people in the chat room flagged someone.
here is the link to the female's profile with the questionable photos.http://www.truenudists.com/profiles/8512/everyone can judge for themselves if some of the photos are inappropriate or not.  that is if the 2 photos are still there.
Just check it out and found one of them to be inappropriate. Sent "her" a polite email asking her to remove it.  We'll See.

As, usually, I'm just finding a long winded way to say, careful here folks, there is a difference between catching and ousting offenders and a witch hunt.  We had someone point out a picture to us of a man sitting in a relaxed position on a chair.  THey felt it was "spread eagle" and that he was showing off his package.  Our opinion was that he was sitting comfortably in a chair and the focal point was not of his genitals at all.  No more so than any picture of a woman's breasts. Frankly, if most men were to sit with their legs together, their genitals would be much more prominent as there is nowhere for them to go but up, lol.  THere are also a lot of very artistic photos on this site that truly celebrate the beauty of the human form - male and female - yet some of these might be consider by a few to be suggestive or pornographic.  When looking at other people's pics, Steve and I feel it's really important to look at the overall "picture" and feel of the profile.  To keep a sense of objectivity. The rules on posting pics are pretty clear and straight forward, but when talkign about pictures there is also always a "grey" area.  Don't forget this is a nudist website and you will see a man's genitals and a woman's breasts and sometimes you'll even see nudes who are partially clothed. Let's all work to clean up this site and bring it back to what it's supposed to be - by getting rid of the ones who have a FLAGRANT disregard for the rules. Just my humble opinion and I welcome a chance to hear other's view points. Jen

I see your point, Jen. I was reacting earlier to a pic of a woman in a bustier, garter belt, fishnets, thong and posed in a seductive, crotch-shot pose... Those are the pics that take us down that slippery slope. It all goes back to the old saying, I can't tell you what pornography is, but I sure know it when I see it.

Jen
I have to agree with Jen that pics in lingere are OK.  If you look at the way the chat room rules are worded, you may come to the same conclusion as I that if it would be acceptable at a resort it is fine here.  There are some pics on a lady's profile wearing lingeree at a dance at a resort.  Lingeree is often sensual, but it is not pornographic.  Rather than worrying about tastefull photos that the person is partially clad, worry about the pornographic pics.  Jen also mentioned the artistic photos some people have showing the beauty of the human form.  Saying those  pics are inappropriate would be like saying the work of some of the great photographers like Ansel Adams are pronographic.  That would make us as bad as the prudish people that say any nudity is bad.  Thomas

I have just gotten on here, but I admit I have came across pics that I feel are more exhibitionist that nudist.    Sometimes there looks like there was a bit too much effort to put the "goods" on display.
Also seen some profiles I suspect are not real profiles, but I do not have any real proof those are fake.
I am trying to make up my mind on whether I agree or disagree on the posting of names if they don't agree with someone elses opinion of what is to be tolerated and what isn't. Though I'm certain that most would be sensible in their 'blacklisting (yep, that's the term that comes to mind)" there will undoubtably be some that will be offended because some woman is beter looking or some guy better, well you get the idea. The one photo of a lady in lingerie that has some up in arms I don't find a problem with, yet there is a profile of a girl that states her age as 17 and she's topless. In some places just viewing it while browsing could get you a child porn conviction.. but it remains up after being flagged, and  a member under 17 and partially nude are against all the rules. So like I say, I'm still trying to make up my mind, smacks a bit of McCarthyism
Don - the "17" year old profile DEFINITELY needs to be flagged and removed as quickly as possible.  That is highly illegal to post.  I would also send the message in an email to abuse@truenudists.comASAP. Will you please take care of that since you are the one who knows which profile it is? Jen

Thomas
Oh Tom, I'm not going here again, all I'm saying is, to make it easier and more importantly quicker, to screen the pics on here, we should Ban PARTIALLY clothed pics. Why would anyone be so DESPERATE  to want to post one, Other than to titillate. If you can't post a nice pic it's not going to kill you! Just keep it nude OR clothed, simple. We are trying to make this place less attractive to pervs looking for easy gratification, Discourage the ones that are already here, AND it would help to dispel the general publics perception, that we are ALL pervs. ( I bet this site gets more hits from textiles than it does nudists) As well as give TT more time enabling him to get certifications and other stuff done quicker. There are quite a few bugs here waiting to be sorted. When we all start flagging these pics he is going to have even less time. Ideally, we just want a true nudist deleting inappropriate pics, regardless of weather they are nude clothed or otherwise. I wish TT would chime in and give us his take on it. I don't know how the system works, but another option might be to decide by the number of flags a pic receives, but it would have been a lot better if they had not got on here in the first place. Phil.

"Jen, Yes man???? LOL Just kidding. I see Phils point simply beacuse with this site being out of control as it is, Phil's idea of a fix is a "simple" one for all of us, and for TT. It's a straight yes or no answer, either fully clothed. or not. This will free up TT's time on trying to judge each pic recieved. We have to remember that this is still a free site, but if TT has to start hiring a lot of help to run the site, guess what comes next??? It will no longer be free. Being a free site besides unfortunetly does draw more pervs, but it does also attract more "Ture Nudist" (like me) in this economy that don't have a lot of money to spare, but still want to meet and make new nudist friends."   I hope this makes sense.... LOL It's 7 AM, and I'm still on my first cup of coffee.....   Thanks,   SteveSteve, I am so sorry!  Put it down to lack of sleep. A "clever" remark gone awry. I realize now how derogatory that was, please forgive me or I'll cry! Lest things get heated, All take a deep breath, and not let this site turn bad. Fun times we've all had, good friends we've all made, for this I am so very glad!Jenp.s. and you thought I was kidding 'bout losing my mind!

Ok, partially clad nude pics?  Ok, be careful here folks, and everyone take a deep breath and relax.  What's the first thing a nudist puts on when the sun shines? A: a smile.  What's the first thing a nudist puts on when it's overcast or cool? A: a sweatshirt, or maybe sweats, or maybe just the tops, or bottoms.   Temperature, comfort level, some women wear something on their bottom half when, a) maybe they;re having their period, or b) maybe when they're playing in the sand on the beach (hmmm, don't want to have internal 'sandpaper').  Is a sunhat or a baseball cap clothing?  Do nudists wear clothes where it'sappropriateto do so, i.e., work, home in 30 degree weather?  So yes, nudists are partially clothed and can be for several reasons.   In keeping in line with this site, appropriate definitionshave been set, and are always subject to chance, by TT1 and no one else.  So as it is the option of members to have the choice, whether or not to share photos, cams, or stories here, they also have the option to be presented wearing clothing or partial clothing.  Wearing clothing also makes any photo unusable for copying to X rated sites (safety issues?) ------------------  Now, if this were a Naturist site, this thread would have more merit. ------------------ Speaking of threads, why are these forum subjects called threads on a nudism site?  Any how, back to the subject.... but people wanting to display other interests, places they've been, boaters, bike riders, post these pics to attract others who may have the same interests and present something to do with who they are besides nudists. As cautious as we all are about rogue profiles and members here, we really also have to keep in mind that the True nudists here also are human and have lives and other interests too, NUDISM IS NOT ARELIGIONORCULT!  Don't let the pendulum swing wildly and turn this site and nudism into either! Once again, the wankers were all over the chat room tonight.
There were at least 3 of then visibly jerking off, and another who was playing with himself- limp.
This is not allowed, it was flagged, and it must end. These asses are not nudists, they are men in need of relief- do it OFF CAM guys.
If I see you, I will flag you. No mistake. You will be asked to leave.
    No excuse for abhorent behaviour.
