Peeing in front of nudist???? — Conduct and Etiquette on True Nudists

Hi there im new to nudism with other people, and was wondering what was the rule if a male or female wanted to pee say if we where in a jungle, at a beach or at home and they was other nudist in viewing distance should we go behind some rocks when on a beach, bushes when in a jungle, and close the bathroom door when at home? or is it acceptable to wizzz away in front other people and do any of you guys have any interesting story's about a peeing indecent when nude??????????

No difference between nudists and non-nudists on this score. Remote and fairly private outdoor settings, of course. Usually, NO, not done and not acceptable.

Yeah that's the problem with this website at most times, the forum trolls and their holier than thou attitude to anyone that thinks differently from them, whether perosnally or culturally Not our fault they are bigoted and know nothing of the outside world. If I need to pee when at the beach, I just go in the sea, it's a long walk to a toilet on most UK beaches. I know some beaches in the UK where people crap in a bag, I've never done this, I always try and go before I go to the beach. :)

In France it is acceptable to pee discreetly anywhere, by this I am not talking city center but anywhere outdoors where there are trees, grass or generally where the pee will biodegrade, a public park for example or anywhere along the roadside. Women do it too although probably not within sight. Men on the other hand will turn their back and pee within feet of you. I have become accustomed to doing this also, it's really a mindset thing and mindsets can be changed given environmental and social differences.

Most bars and cafÃ©s have a urinal and a closet in the same space, the urinal is often in plain site of others in the bar or very lightly screened, women will pass close behind you whilst you are peeing, this is also something which one gets used to over time.

The french see peeing as a normal bodily function not something which needs to be thought too much about, it is also a very large country, great infrastructure on the whole but not much in the way of public loos everywhere, the ones that do exist are pretty grim anyway.

Most men here will pee in the garden as a norm, I do too. It saves a lot of potable water being used to flush away something that benefits the earth if deposited there.

It is true to say that a Frenchman has the right to urinate when required, the level of discretion undoubtedly varies but the principal is set in stone, as one with a fairly weak bladder I am happy to make good use of this sociably acceptable situation.

God almighty, just when you think the topics here can't get any more ridiculous.......why stop at peeing? At your next nudist potluck, bend over and grind out a growler for the crew, tell them it's considered a cultural compliment in Botswana.

Acceptability of open or semi-open peeing varies largely from country to country. Also techniques vary on men. In many Middle-Eastern countries men pee squatting even when out in the nature, the same way they do the dump in seatless "squat toilets". In Western world and most Eastern parts of Asia it is again performed proudly standing. In some countries (France as an example but except for the unisex toilet arrangement by far not the sole one) peeing is done fairly openly and to public events there are brought portable peeing boxes, where open urinoirs are on all four sides and that resembles the "Indian style" street toilet. Using them is not a big deal where applied. Also in many countries, simply as water-saving and environmental method, people (predominantly males who have simpler design on that) with private gardens pee in their garden to one or few regular spots as a rule, and same is encouraged on guests at least if spending time outdoors.

What comes to nude peeing, in many European nude resorts toilets and showers are unisex, and if there are urinoirs, they are in the open, sometimes even on the outside wall of the washing/toilet building.

In Russia I always wondered one thing about peeing: There are very few public toilets in the cities and often they in miserable conditions. Using restaurant, bar and other facilities not broadly accepted unless you a patron (unlike Spain, wher lack of public toilets is compensated by rule of using any available facilities), relieving yourself in a park may get you in trouble with the law and even cause an arrest. So not many options left, and I wonder whether that is a reason why in Russia (and some adjoining countries like Belarus and Ukraine) people drink very little fluids and thus have a need a to pee as rarely as possibly, thus subconsciously avoiding uncomfortable situations when going around the town.

So peeing rules not uniformal and not strictly bound to nude/textile differences but differentiate in much broader cultural context even within same cultural macro-area.

In Gengis-Khan's Mongolia, potable water was a valuable asset and peeing into a drinking water-source water deserved a severe punishment: wrapped in a carpet and being kicked till dead....

i have heard in some of the northern states of India in the remote villages people worship the cow so much that they feel by drinking its urine it cleanses them and they bathe with it. i would never even think of doing that but for some people its the norm.

We went to gunnison's the other day. Hot sunny and 1000s of people but let me tell ya it was a long hot walk back to the bath house..... got us thinking... many heading in but few out.... so what do you think happens on the beach?

And now some off-topic about urine:
What comes to peeing practices in India, I remember that first non-Congress Party (Janata) Prime Minister Morarji Desai (in office late 70's) used to drink each morning some of his own urine. Some others in India to it and it is considered a special therapy called in hindi "shivamboo". As a kidney waste product, drinking urine per se is not proven to have any benefits, rather on the contrary.
In some countries very deep down alcoholics do drink their own urine to get some of the previous night's booze residue recycled back into their organism.

[/quote]There is a whole culture of urine therapy practitioners. There is a sect of monks, among others, that drink their 1st urine of the day. It is a waste of the body. However, not in a bad way. The kidneys filter off the nutrients that the body doesn't need at the moment, such as vital vitamins and minerals. The actual waste is filtered through the other "route". I am not a practitioner, but have read some about it. It can be good, because the urine is 100% sterile and is unique to your own body needs.
I had an ear infection and was told to put drops of my own urine in my ear by my naturopath. I used a dropper...aim wasn't neccessary.
Anyways, this is getting far off topic, but is another point of view in the greater pissing topic.

nakedpatriot, thats a lota good info and i think that the right attitude towards nudism that you have, to adopt an open mind towards the body, but make sure you mind is not too open that it falls out.

another off topic i thought of is you know when you get red eye i think elsewhere its called pink eyes or conjunctivitis, the local cure for it is when you get up first thing in the morning put your pee in your eye i use to have a glass container that fitted over your eye that you could put the pee in and place it over the eye, it is very old, i have never seen another, maybe once apona time it was the norm to use it, now i guess still people use it its just the older people i guess.

they is also another thing if a jellyfish stings you, you need to pee on the wound, i have never seen a jelly fish where i stay they are no jellyfishes, anyone knows more about this?
