What to wear when you go to or leave a nudebeach

I drive a convertible and like to leave the top down in warm weather so I think that would be a little too conspicuous. 2. At the nude beach I go to, the parking lot is across the main park road from the beach. It could get tricky if the towel slipped off in the middle of the road.

  Had the string/thong.optionwith me today, but opted for a string-side brief instead. Felt more comfortable with that, walking through the carpark with only a cap on my head and my towel under my arm. I believe the thong is legal but would prefer to not walk the whole carpark length in one while people are coming & going. A spot close to the path to the CO beach might be okay.

Have worn a swim brief in the past, but after I stopped wearing underwear I found them to be too confining and started wearing gym shorts instead. Plus, if you need to stop for something along the way, yo don't need to add a second layer. Rarely wear a shirt.

  The nudist beach that I went to was a secluded beach, I left the car a few kilometers away and walked to the trail that gives access to the beach only in swim trunks. Right at the beginning of the trail there was a sign saying to remove all your clothes, from that point on I did the trail naked, when I left I just put on my trunks again.

  we would go to Collins beach in Oregon,all you had to do is walk across the gravel road, then you would be in the trees and then on the beach.If there wasn't people at the parking area we would strip down walk naked across the road and be on the beach. we would bring a t-shirt or coverup for the walk back.

  I wear regular clothes to my nude beach, because it is a 3-hour drive to Sandy Hook in New Jersey. I usually have a meal before heading back home, so it is best to be prepared for that. Sometimes I bring along "better" or dressier clothes for whatever location I choose for dinner.
  From the parking lot, I sometimes strip down a bit, but mainly stay dressed until I get to the bath house /restroom. There, I get more stripped for the walk to the beach. Sometimes I have worn board shorts or a Speedo. Other times, I just wear the shorts I wore while driving. Never wear a shirt. After being on the beach, I shower off in a Speedo, and then change into my driving shorts to get back to the car. Sometimes I have walked back to the car in the Speedo.
  I once saw a young married couple where he and she had matching bikinis, only she wore a top and he did not. They were walking across the road to their car without a care in the world that they had the the same outfit on. That was pretty awesome.

I surprises me that most men wear a shirt on the part to the beach. My philosophy is why wear more than you have to when you are going to take it all off soon.

Used to sometimes wear a swim brief instead of the shorts but found that to be more confining even though it covered less.

  If I go from a resort to the beach through a textile area I just wear a towel. If I drive with the car to the beach I just wear shorts.

  I don't go to the beach much these days as most beaches are a long walk from the nearest road but on holiday one hotel I use is quite close to the beach and then I usually walk naked from my room to the beach and back - [url][link]/link/b8532bbbf7b3ef69/aHR0cHM6Ly92aW1lby5jb20vMzg2NTAwMTE1[/link]see this video[/url]. Otherwise I'll wear a shirt and tan-through shorts with no liner for the bus ride to the beach unless I'm at a nudist resort in which case I walk naked to the beach.

  Usually the minimum: t-shirt and swim trunks. If I have to leave to go back to my car, usually just the trunks.

I have seen a few men that have wrapped a towel around their waist and started walking toward the parking lot with no apparent clothing on their possession.

  Unfortunately, there are no beaches within a 1,000 miles of where I live.

  My preference would be to arrive and leave nude. But many beaches that allow nudity are not situated such that doing so would be legal.

I do resort to the white lines of car spaces on occasion! :-D

  Ollygrumps suggested a sarong worn as a toga. Tie two corners together, sling it over your shoulder, and you're covered. More or less. One side is open from your shoulder down and may be susceptible to the prevailing breeze. I want to try it and head from the (textile) carpark with just the sarong instead of a swimsuit and beach towel. I may have to choose the shoulder based on the wind direction.

I have seen a few men wrap a towel around their waist and head for the parking lot a the nude beach I go to, with no evidence of having any clothing in their possession. Can't make the trip nude because the lot is across the main park road from the beach.
