Jul 31, 2026It's a bad year for apples in Colorado this year. There was a late snow and frost, then a dry, hot summer. All the apples are falling from our trees way under sized. We have no peaches due to the late frost. Even the famous peaches from the western slope valleys are early and small this year. I guess the problem is tree fruits that survived the spring are ripening too soon.

Warm weather in early May and a late May frost killed most of the buds.ReactReply
