This was a new one. The larvae eat the roots and the stocks fall over. We had two that fell over. This could have been a clue. The real issue came when the adult beetles emerged. They eat the tassels screwing up the pollination. About 30% of the ears were effected. I'm hoping we got them under control. Time will tell. If nothing else, the corn provides a good screen reducing my potential exposure when gardening naked.
