Okay, pictures taken after the fact, but walking through the carpark and along the trail I was in my custom Dore brief (which was intended to be as skimpy as possible while having the attributes of a regular swim brief) until I reached the Clothing Optional sign.

Oct 29, 2023I sometimes walk between the parking lot and clothing optional beach as Gunnison wearing only a swim brief, but it has more coverage than yours.
I have seen men in G-strings and one in a very skimpy loincloth.ReactReply - ST

Nov 3, 2023Not sure what this post has to do with clothes on/clothes off, but I wear a thong between the parking area and the beach in Florida. Most of the people who park in that area are into thongs and g-strings and a little nudity. There is some crossover from textiles once we get onto the beach. Never had a problem with a thong. Probably the textiles have seen others come and go wearing one, so mine is not shocking.

It might be more daring to wear a thong or g-string at Gunnison because the parking lot is on the opposite side of the main road in the park from the beach.ReactReply - TD

When we got the fence I got rid of them because I didn't have to wear anything in the pool and I was not daring enough to wear them anywhere else.ReactReply - NI

No, but walk about 500 yards on a path to the beach and nearly another mile to the most remote section. I do wear the thong at the showers and at the restroom at another parking lot in the park.ReactReply - JM
Nov 9, 2023Hi,
I am interested in what part of Fort Desoto you go? Be specific in your response. I know there is a North Parking Lot and a East Parking Lot. Tampa Bay Free Beaches is working on getting the East Beach lot a Clothing Optional Beach. Thanks - JIMReactReply - FL
