We're currently on holiday at a lake in Bavaria. In the evenings, when people are heading home, we go swimming. Then I don't need my swimsuit. It's not a nudist lake. Today we got home early from our hike. But since the weather wasn't so nice (only 20C and the lake is always quite cool), there were only a few people on the beach. My wife wanted to go despite the weather and the water. So we went to our beach. There was only one other woman there. But I absolutely didn't feel like swimming in my swimsuit. When you're used to nudism, swimwear just gets in the way. So I asked this woman if she minded me swimming naked. Since she recognized where I came from (East Germany) from my dialect, she said: "It wouldn't be normal if someone from the former East Germany didn't swim naked." Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I was glad I could still get in the water.
