Hey everyone, I plan to be in Vermont Labor Day weekend and would be open to a hike either Saturday or Monday. Saturday would be better for me, but open to Monday. Couple suggestions would be t a section of the AT to Little Pond near Bennington. This trail provides options that range from 4.5 miles to 10 miles. Naturist Soaker, if you read this post, this is the same trail we attempted Memorial Day a year or so ago but turned around for a number of reasons. Another suggestion is Spruce Mountain northwest of Montpelier. It has a great view and a fire tower we can climb. The trail is in and out and is about 4-5 miles. Open to other ideas as well. Let's get the trail and date nailed down soon so it can be posted under events.

ok, now that we are getting closer to the date, the weather forecast calls for a cold front to be going through on Friday, so Sat morning will be the coldest of the weekend with possible showers. Monday is supposed to be the sunniest and warmest of the weekend, so thinking of doing the hike on Monday rather than Saturday. Please provide your feedback and I will make any changes Thursday night. Thanks.

In the meantime, I have made other plans so won't be able to join, even with an adjusted schedule. Hope the hike is a good one and you all have a pleasant day.
