moderators?

  I agree. You can certainly tell spam posts that should be deleted. I assume moderators have that option. I noticed in some groups that i am in that the moderator(s) have not signed in for months/years according to their profile. The spam posts are driving this site down.

  Actually we don't. We used to be able to delete content, like media and discussions but now I can't in my group. I had to make the one group I moderate Private to prevent spammers from signing up. I do see some Public groups that don't have the spam messages I see in other Public groups, so I'm assuming they must request the powers to be to remove it.
