The Naturist Action Committee of the Naturist Society has requested that interested Florida residents write to their Florida representatives regarding proposals to Florida Statues that would permit clothing optional areas on state beaches. Please read the NAC item, follow their guidelines, and at least have a chance to find a place on the Gulf Coast to enjoy.

The bill was amended to allow nudity in places set aside for that purpose. t The bill passed the legislature. It is waiting for the Governor's signature. It increases the penalty for a second lewd exposure from a first degree misdemeanor to a third degree felony. As the law was written before, as I read it, you could be charged at Haulover for exposure. Since the bill exempts clothing optional areas, what we want is for State Parks or county parks to set aside clothing optional areas.
