European locations are totally missing under the headline "Locations". I understand that most members here are from US, but since the membership of the site is growing there are MANY from other parts of the world. Would be great to add locations in Europe, Australia, other parts of America in addition to US (many Canadian members!) and there might even be some locations in Asia. Probably none in Africa, but would be happy if I'm wrong.
So please sitekeepers, put some effort on extending the page "Locations".
/Andy

nuderunrMar 18, 2009Hopefully the locations part of the site will continually be improved as time goes along. As an aside I just learned yesterday that even for the locations that are available to be used, you can only post "upcoming" visits and can't post visits after you returned. I tried to add my recent resort visit and received an error message that "dates must be in the future."

Shana WilsonMar 20, 2009
Perhaps if you submitted a review and a link to a particular location it would get added to the list. At least to me, that seems the way the U.S. locations get added. AndrewOriginal PosterMar 22, 2009Responding to the message from Nuderunr, # 9: I have submitted several proposals, nude baeaches and others, in Sweden, using the funcrtion at the page "Locations". I quote from that page:Help your community grow! If you don't see a location in our database. Pleasesubmit it to us!Yepp, that's what I and many others have done, submitted locations. So far, after almost two months no reaction. I'm fully aware of that it's a lot to do managing the site. But since there are so many members from non-US countries now, it would be kind of the webmaster to put some effort into adding Canadian, Latin American, European, Australian and Asian locations. Of course also African, if there are any. I myself know the Swedish locations, so for me it's no problem. But it would be great developing the opportunities to exchange experiences of beaches and resorts, here at True Nudists. For those of you that want to visit Sweden, where we have many official and numerous unofficial nude beaches, you are most welcome! We have a good website giving a lot of information, also in English, The Scandinavian Naturist Guide:Naturistnet.org(I've tried to make the link to the Naturist site open in a new window, but the system is not accepting it. If you wanna open it in a new window, right click and choose an option from there).ReactReply - AN

CanoodlerApr 2, 2009Unfortunately, the owner/runners of this website seem very distant. I get the impression that they built it and then departed. Nudrunr, locations works fine for American destinations only. "Visits" have to be in the future, but you can say where you've been with "Locations". Clearly, they were remiss in having an open website for world nudists and only including a map for the US. It's simply incomplete. There is lots of help out there and suggestions but as no one is being answered, and forums are being ignored, as far as I can see, nothing is going to change. P.S. I just mailed them a new location yesterday. I won't hold my breath.

nuderunrApr 9, 2009
Unfortunately, so far, after two months and two weeksfrom my first post, no reaction at all to the humble request for additional locations. And I'm obviously not the only person from outside US at the site.
I’m sorry to hear that you still haven’t received any kind of response on the issue of adding non-US nudist locations. I can certainly imagine how frustrating it must be. While I don’t wish to detract from the very legitimate issue that effects the many members who live outside the US, I did try requesting the addition of a Texas nudist resort that I plan to visit next month which is AANR affiliated and that has received great reviews from a number of Internet nude recreation related sites and also did not receive any response. As best I can tell, no new locations for any locale have been added in almost 6 months. It seems this is just a low priority for the site at the present time. In fairness, there have been some technical issues it seems based on the frequency with which many of us are encountering the “OOPS” screen stating the site is experiencing technical difficulties and temporarily unavailable. The site recently passed the 10,000 mark for membership and I speculate that perhaps it is growing beyond one person’s ability to manage alone which is understandable given that I’m certain he has a life beyond providing this site for us. Perhaps there simply isn’t time for anything beyond keeping the site up and running and processing membership applications. On the one hand, of course it is frustrating to have a feature offered that doesn’t seem to work as intended, yet on the other hand, given that the site is free I don’t feel it appropriate to complain too strenuously about things I might find frustrating. All in all this is a very nice site and I am grateful to be a part of it. Still like you, I do hope at some point the location issues can be resolved to everyone’s satisfaction and so that it becomes a useful feature for all.ReactReply - PH
PhilfreeeukApr 15, 2009Unfortunately, as I'm no longer in a position to travel, this problem is not of great concern to me, but I do understand your frustration over this issue. From reading TT's blog (and between the lines which are not numerous) I get the impression that it is only the work load that is preventing him from building up the locations section. Here is a excerpt from way back in October, where he is actually asking for help. Maybe someone with the required skill set could offer. From TT's blog: October 23rd, 2008 4. Volunteer your time If you have experience with HTML/Photoshop or PHP/MYSQL, I could use some help with writing tutorials and entering locations. Please emailsupport@truenudists.comif you would like to help. I feel sure that eventually, it will come to pass, but in the mean time, why doesn't someone create a group, Call it "The Rest of The World" or something, and build up the info there. You could have a post for each country and then add the locations as comments. Or create your location info on your own blog and provide links in the group forum to all the different blogs. At least then it could all be pasted from there, to the locations section at a later date when it gets up to speed. Phil.

ReactReply - MEMemberApr 28, 2009Andy and all others looking for locations outside of the U.S, I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you. The locations section has been very helpful to us while planning a recent vacation. I also know that TT1 has his hands full doing everything he can to run this site as smoothly and cleanly as possible and probably just hasn't had the time to devote to upgrading the locations section. As a matter of fact, way back on October 23rd he requested help specifically in this area on his blog:http://www.truenudists.com/blog/Look under the subject "3000 users", number 4: 4. Volunteer your time If you have experience with HTML/Photoshop or PHP/MYSQL, I could use some help with writing tutorials and entering locations. Please emailsupport@truenudists.comif you would like to help. Keep in mind that was written back when there were only 3000 users. We now have over 10,000 users! I really just think his hands are too full to keep up with the locations page. So, is there any one out there with the necessary experience/know how willing to volunteer to help with upgrading the locations section? If so, please send an email tosupport@truenudists.com, make sure you put in your subject line "volunteering to work on locations section". I'm sure TT1 would appreciate the help! Jen

Oops! Sorry Phil, just saw that you posted the exact same info over 2 weeks ago! Should have saved myself the trouble and just quoted you to begin with. That's what I get for not checking ALL the posts leading up to the last one. What can I say, body is back by head is still on vacation!

Some of you adding messages in this discussion have stressed the fact that the site is run on a non-commercial basis. I'm fully aware of that and I express my appreciation for the initiative. I suppose the number of members at True Nudists have increased much more and much quicker than expected. That's for sure very positive. Others have proposed that those of you that have the right competence for giving a helping hand with developing the site should offer that help to the site management. I'm not one of those with that type of competence, sorry. But there are most likely some others. Please, if you think you can contribute, contact the site management! Coming to the question of locations, I know there are other sites where information about nude beaches, resorts, B&B etc are to be found. But why keep the site "Locations" at this site unchanged, when sooo many members here are from other locations than US? My proposal quoted above, posted four months ago, have so far not given any effect and no sign of reaction from the site management. Would be great to get at least some sort of answer, maybe a timeplan for site development or something. Let's hope it comes soon. Greetings from Sweden! /AndyReactReply - MEMemberJun 4, 2009
Even U.S. citizens don't visit only American resorts and beaches. I am from Texas and am frustrated that I can't list places outside the U.S. that I have been to, such as Negril, Jamaica.
ReactReply - MEMemberJun 4, 2009
Dont remember how I did, but I was lucky to add some locations out of the USA - as Maspalomas in the Canarias Islands, Spain - after having picked the picture in another member's page here on their location section..... So there must be a way....
That's great, Peter! Figure out how you did it and let everyone know. The locations outside of US would grow so fast with everyone pitching in!ReactReply

mosquito_baitJun 6, 2009There is the "Suggest a Location" form. A couple of weeks ago, I filled out the form for the Vritomartis resort in Greece. I provided a link to the resort's webpage and the resort's e-mail address. As of yet, the resort has not been added to the locations list. I suspect that the webmaster is simply overwhelmed. I searched the locations list for some other large European resorts and did not find them.
