HI  I'm pretty  new here, I was in the chatroom recently in a private  chat when an admin / moderator  appeared  on another private chat and said  I had been accused of sexual  chat.   I didnt think i had  crossed any boundaires I didn't think i was anywhere near an explicit level in conversation.   I have been asked questions and chatted to by others in recent days  with far  more specfic  sex talk/ questions which i was politely  said no thanks and left that  chat.  If I knew  how to block that user in the future from private messaging me             i would do that !  I dont have a cam so  it couldnt have  been any video issue.   So i expected a WARNING if that was indeed the  case  but instead I was and still am i banned by the admin/moderator from the main chat room   So please explain  what is the  appeal  process to being  banned !   or how long is one banned for on a FIRST OFFENSE   I really like  chat  its the best  part of the site and i miss it a lot !

A kick from the chat room is 24 to 48 hours.  It is not set by the mods, it is technicially a 24 hour kick.  apparently due to system update timing, it could last 48 hours.  In reference to some of your private conversations being more sexual at different time  than when you were kicked,  the other people must not have complained.  Since I am not the mod who kicked you, I only know what you posted here and can make no further comment.

To block a person, click their name in list of who is in room and click block.  It only lasts while in room.

You flag a perswon by clicking on their profile and click the flag button.  Then list a reason for the flag.

Trolling in internet terms means posting with intent to incite argument or to monopolize chat room.  A better defination can be found by searchin it in urban dictionaly.

Timmy, the Urban Dictionary defines trolling as follows:

Trolling is trying to get a rise out of someone. Forcing them to respond to you, either through wise-crackery, posting incorrect information, asking blatantly stupid questions, or other foolishness. However, trolling statements are never true or are ever meant to be construed as such.

Thanks  txag_1975    I could not find any information on banning anywhere on wweb site !.    I should have said  that I had been the recipent of private hcat that was far  more overtly sexual than anything I did . I will have to  FLAG in the future those who do that to me           Thanks for the reply  I was afraid I was banned for life !

Some of the "moderators" in the chat are know to be seriously intolerant and very quick to boot people, sometimes on marginal calls.
There have been previous discussions on this topic. I suspect when some people get a little bit of authority over others, they just cant wait to throw a flag !
Be patient, your user rights will come back....but if you truely feel you have been wronged, appeal the situation to the site administrator.

OK Timmy, another option is that if a moderator is in the room at the time, you can also copy and paste what was sent to you and that person will get kicked.

Remember the rules Timmy. Some Mods allow a little leaway (a personal thing) but a rule is the rule and as such if you break them you will be 'kicked'.

The system of banning is very bad, lots complaining. Seems am banned for innocuously replying to an email and not paying attention to room. Moderators powers need curbing, maybe some need tranquillisers too. Is three days I been banned and only contact I can find is with inquiries in Arizona who said they 'cannot comment' nothing more. Is shame because is a potentially wonderful site. Anyone with any say reading this please listen to my appeal.

The rules of the room are simple.

Chat Room Rules and Regulations

1.  No Sexual Discussion, or Sexual Activities in EITHER ROOM
2.  No Crotch Shots. Faces on cam please.
3.  If you do not want to be seen on your cam. Do not use it.
4.  Be nice, no rudity harassing or trolling.
5.  Flag users who do not follow the rules.
6.  Have Fun!

Failure to follow these rules will cause your account to be banned.

In addition to this the TOS states no soliciting and advertising.  This mean no posting of links in the room.

Posting Skype addresses, email addresses and the like is considered soliciting.  If you chose to share such personal information, do it in a Private Message.

Face on cam does not mean that you can set your cam on the floor or at the foot of your bed in a south to north shot. Your can be fully nude, or not, but the face is to be the focus, not your genitals.

Getting up to get a coffee or a drink is not bootable. HOWEVER, if I check your cam and you have been in the same standing position for a time, you will be screenshoted, booted and if necessary reported to the admins.

The chat is for enjoyment the many, not the few that think it is their private cyber playground.

The boot time is now 3 days.

Behave as you would at a beach or resort and just have fun.

The issue is not the rules, everyone should know them and behave accordingly. The issue is trigger-happy moderators who seem to have nothing better to do than see how many they can boot. Some do deserve to be booted but you must be aware of the growing complaints, many are legitimate. The day I was booted I was on cam for more than two hours before i briefly got distracted to reply to an email and was not aware my face had strayed off cam for couple of minutes until I returned to webpage too late to respond to 'first and final warning.' Some moderators need to lighten up, not just shoot from the hip

Not disputing you managed to get a photoshot of all of my body with partial or no head. Just dont know what's the obsession about your focus on a flaccid penis. Maybe you also got hundreds of photos too including head during my two hours on cam.

Amen! Amen! Amen! You only justifying your actions to yourself and the number of times you are repeating suggests maybe you have a slight twinge of guilt. Dont want this to go on forever since you never going to accept. The only answer appears to be is to go off cam any time get distracted otherwise liable to be photoshot every time i move, although seems to defeat the object of just being able to relax rather than worrying get booted at any time. Although you never going to admit you were hasty just hope is a lesson that there wont be any more similar victims.

I know Jackie does not kick without cause. Jackie has explained why you were kicked with detail.  This is a chat room.  Is life so diminished when you can't get in?

The rules are simple, and if you thing your cam is going to 'slip', turn it off when you get up.

If you are referring to me kicking you.....the screen shot I have of you is yourback (from the shoulders down) your leg's spread with the penis thefocusof your cam........so obviously your cam had 'strayed" from your face to focus on your back and penis. I personally  have no obsession on a penis all be it flaccid or erect....Now being quite serious here I for one can not understand how your cam could stray from your face to your back and penis. However that being said at the end of the day I do have a screen capture  to prove without doubt why I kicked you from the room if you Sir can show proof why you should not have been kicked I shall certainly apologise to you. And the "photoshot" was NOT of all of your body with partial or no head....the "photoshot" was of your back from neck down to legs spread and the cam focused on your penis. And no I do not have hundreds of "photoshots" of your head during your two hours on cam I only take "photoshot" pics of those abusing the TOS of the room.....a head on cam would not be abusing the TOS of the room. However to be totally sincere, I really do not know why I am justifying my actions to you Sir, as stated I have proof as to why I kicked you, and until you can show me and others here proof to the contrary, I suggest you simply cop your kicking learn a lesson and get back to the chat room and behave and enjoy.
I must say Jackie that I am pretty disgusted that you should use a public forum to address this in all it's explicit detail. These sort of conversations should be messaged to the member individually. You are not fit to be a moderator if you believe this should be a public debate about your screen captures and stance on this. I for one will never use my cam in the chats again. I do nothing wrong in chat but I believe we have a right to privacy as in not expecting these chat moderators to be capturing our images.

NudyJay raises two important issues that are not being addressed. There is the concern about privacy and the behaviour of moderators, who do not seem accountable. Maybe these are reasons why so relatively few bother to cam in chat room. Privacy concerns cover not only unsolicited photoshots of cams and their security but access by the general public to profiles and photos, unless specifically made friends only. In part this could be due to design of website, which also seems to vitally lack access to the administrators, which was the request of my first posting (as below) until Jackie turned it into a public slanging match.

The forums seem the only way to raise issues. There is no contact details except through inquiries in Arizona and no listing of moderators as far as I know or even if there is a hierarchy to which they are accountable. Rules are certainly rules, which must be obeyed, there is no dispute about this. But a major concern is the interpretation of the rules that appear at times to be arbitrary and used as a turkey shoot to ban people. There are even instances moderators admitting in the chat room of mistakenly booting the wrong person then joking about it.

As mentioned originally. the site has wonderful potential and my concern has not been on keep whining about being booted but to address issues to help make the site better for all.

The issue is very much the rules. Having broken one of them and lets just say it was by "accident" the rule was still broken so accept the punishment like all the rest or join the "Whingers & Whiners" by posting here.

It was the posting of complaints in the forum and claim that the op had not broken the rules that let to a description of the violation.  If you complain about getting kicked in here, a mod will answer in here.  If you had sent a private message to the mod who kicked you once you knewn which mod it was, then the response would have been private. It is amazing how many people think mods enjoy kicking someone.  The best times in chat are when everyone is haveing a pleasant chat and no one needs to be warned or kicked.
I got kicked out for simply being on cam, waist up in black and white. I wasn't chatting, I wasn't misbehaving, it just happened. On other occasions, I got muted out of nowhere. My pics got taken down at least some 6 times. What else?? Now I am banned from chat and can't get in.
I sent you a response in private because I saw your message before I saw this in forum.  I don't put reason for a kick in public forum, but when someone complains in public I will respond in public the next time.
