I guess the question i have is have you ever gotten nude in front of non nudist friends? or have you ever asked non nudist friends if they wanted to get nude with you?
Wonder if some of our current friends would also love to get nude with us but everyone is afraid to ask LOL.

I only have one friend that I get nude in front of and he does too but that is in the gym changing rooms so I know that doesn't count. Other than that the only people that knows Im a naturist are my workmates.

noodengr2May 22, 2016Yes to your answer. Every since I got a hot tub 20 years ago I have been very open about being a nudist. Over the years what I have found works is when a friend is here for a meal for a the first time , I greet them clothed and we eat the meal. After the meal I suggest a hot tub soak and point out the house rules which are posted above it. 1. use common sense 2. no swimsuits allowed. Far more have taken me up on an offer than i ever thought would. We strip to soak, and once out I stay nude, sometimes they do , others redress. The next time they come I often greet them nude at the door, figuring that they have seen it all before. Never had a complaint.

rrfalconMay 22, 2016I've got non-nudist friends who come over. Some are comfortable with me being nude, some aren't. I'll be nude around the comfortable ones, and stay lightly dressed around those who aren't. It just depends on circumstances.

nudonyMay 23, 2016Yes I have.- I have to admit than in two cases it didn't turn out very well. It can be a slippery slope: textiles can misinterpret your intentions; or misunderstand the actual implications (or lack thereof) of "hanging out" with a nude friend.
- In order to avoid those misunderstandings or miscommunications, I think discussing nudism (the more the better) and explaining your intent are important.
- I've been nude around my best friend a few times. I got him to accompany me to a trip to Gunnison. I had previously explained to him why I wanted to go; and to expect me to go nude. He agreed to the trip; and actually went nude himself a little while after I'd disrobed. He had a blast. But that was "destination-nudism". It's a bit easier when the textile friend knowingly accompanies you to a nudist location.
- For home-nudism, my best example is with a good friend of mine, and it was a bit of a reverse situation since it was before I became a nudist myself. Once our friendship became cemented with trust and closeness, she started letting me on to the fact that she didn't always wear clothes at home. She also drew nudes and had them hanging all over her bedroom wall (which could be substituted for nudist publications). Gradually she started wearing lighter clothing when I came for a visit. I guess she was gauging my reaction from the progression of her barely covered state. Until one day I went to pick her up a little early; and she cracked the door open and told me she was still nude, and I could wait for her outside or come in. At that point I'd already had seen her topless and in various states of partially undressed, and I was well aware and respectful of her preference for nudity; it wasn't a "thing" for me to be around her if she was nude. I told her I was fine waiting inside if she was ok with it; at which point she smiled before letting me in. After that she didn't bother covering up if she was nude when I visited.
- From the perspective of the textile I was then, her gradual approach made it very easy for me to accept her home-nudity. That's probably the approach I should have taken myself.

MitchMay 24, 2016I have been nude with one of my non nudist friends. Funny story.
I had entered a chili cookoff at a nudist resort and did not win, so I was going back the next day to try again when my car broke down. Since I had left all my stuff at the resort, my friend towed me home and then drove me out to the resort to take part in the cook off. I missed the cook off but was able to be a judge.
I spent a couple hours hanging out in the nude, and my non nude friend at least took his shirt off, as it was hot.
I kinda dropped the nude bomb on him that day, but he has since gone skinny dipping with me once and enjoyed it.
Maybe a future nudist?

It initially started when we bought a house with a pool and we told our friends that they were welcome to come swimming whenever they liked but unless they wanted to see us naked they should call before coming over. A few friends thought it was a joke since I have a reputation as being a joker. But the weekend after we moved in we were paining the inside of the house and a friend and his wife offered to come over and help us with the painting, previous to this visit they had never seen either of us nude but knew we talked about nude excursions in the past. So when they showed us we were both naked painting the living room and his wife said "they have the right idea" painting naked you don't ruin your clothes and the paint washes off. Plus it was 90 degrees and we had the windows open for ventilationReactReply
- FRFreecospiritMay 28, 2016Not yet though a number of our friends know that we have frequently used CO beaches on holiday. I've lost count of the number of times I've been nude in the presence of non-nudist strangers on such beaches. It would simply be too embarrassing for me and my friends/relatives to be nude in front of them. I have often wondered what the reaction would I were to be caught out. I probably would quickly cover up even though by that time they would have seen everything. If non-nudist friend(s) were to come with me to a CO beach where there were nudists I think that I would go nude hoping they might try it too.
I have gardened nude at timse and my neighbors may well have seen me nude but they have never said anything.
A female friend gave me a mankini (as Borat!) as a joke and I have give her a photo of me wearing it and nude holding it shielding my groin.ReactReply - GL

I did a couple motorcycle trips around the country with three others. Weekend trips werent uncommon either. When we would shower, i had no problem showering or changing in the shower at the campgrounds with the door open. When we visited laundromats, we would go at night after everyone else was done. I would strip out of my clothes and wash them too. Kept a towel to cover nearby in case someone else came in. The other guys thought I was crazy. After a while one guy finally jumped on board too. Then we were considered both nuts.

85springerOct 23, 2016Yes with mixed results; but the same end. A friend came by to help with a project and caught me in the garage nude. I asked if I needed to get dressed and he responded: "No." We finished the project with no problem. Social visits virtually stopped.
Another friend and his girlfriend came over to swim and partake of adult beverages. After a number of adult beverages, I returned to the pool from a restroom break w/o my swimsuit. After a while, I removed my wife's suit. She proceeded to "pants" the girlfriend. A few minutes later Captain Morgan's ship sank. So did our friend ship. This was a great loss to both of us. We've had several people move in near us in the desert. We've told them we are nudists, mostly me the husband. All have been "accepting." None have been interactive beyond a wave. craigopJan 7, 2017Yes, I have. To qualify that- I am prefectly fine being naked whenever, wherever. Although, I am more comfortable when I am not the only one naked. Also, when around textiled friends I would not go nude, not that I would care, but out of respect for my friends. If, in time, I discovered they were comfortable with nudity I might suggest we all get naked, take a naked trip together, or go to a nudist park.

In our younger days we used to do a lot of social bike rides that were usually bar to bar type rides and some of them we camped at parks, etc. Once we traveled to a smaller town were a bike club had planned a ride. There were 4 or 5 teams that showed up about 40 people in all. They secured the local gun club to camp at so we had the place to ourselves. GF and I decided to get naked on our bikes and buzz the campfire where everyone was gathered. Everyone was hooting and hollering and we had a blast and got a great reception after putting clothes on and joining the group and they talked about that for years to come. Luckily that was before we all carried cameras.

Every place the nudists went flash bulbs could be seen popping. Only nudists who agreed to be photographed would attend. I personally had about a dozen women taking pictures of me at the same time. DaveMar 2, 2017Yes. One time was a young lady that asked me for a boat ride, and I explained that I was nude. After a bit of back and forth, I put on some shorts and she came aboard. Talked for a while, motored around. Then she decided it was OK if i was nude, took off her top, and jumped in the river. I didn't put clothes back on that day. Have only encountered her a few times at the river, but she is now OK with me being nude. Normally flags me down for a ride if she sees me on the water. If she has friends with her, then I put on clothes, as much for her modesty as mine. Well, maybe. She does tend to call out from the beach "Dave, are you dressed?".
Have another friend that would arrive unannounced. Normally I garden nude. One day she showed up, and I put on some light shorts that were almost nothing. She did not complain. Have since grown to be very comfortable around her nude, though she never is nude. On one short hiking trip we were on, I wore some shorts out of the parking lot, then took them off. Handed them to her for some reason that I forget. She seemed to be quite happy carrying the only clothes I had available.
Have been nude in front of strangers, but that was not the question.

We were on our honeymoon in Europe and were staying in a quiet little village in Austria in what was called a Romantic Spa Resort, so upon arrival we were shown around the grounds and since we hadn't planned on staying at a Spa resort and it was Sept we didn't have swimwear packet for our trip and they had an indoor pool with sauna. So I asked the girl giving the tour if there was someplace we could purchase swimsuits and she asked WHY? So I told her our situation and she said we could go nude or wear our underwear if we liked and that they had no issues either way. She also told us to be careful of our valuables if left unattended in the dressing room and that most guest's chose to least their stuff in their rooms. She also said it was fine to walk to the pool in our swimsuit and showed us a back entrence to the pool are that did not go thru the lobby and led us down a hall to our room at the very end. I asked is this ok if we decide to go nude or do we need to bring our towels from our room? She said room towels must remain in the rooms and most who go nude just wear a pair of shorts to and from the pool but since we had a direct hallway to the back enterence we would be fine if we chose to leave our stuff in the room.
Later on that evening we decided to go for a swim and I went nude and my wife wore her G-string panties and we were the only ones in the pool area so after a few minutes she decided to remove her panties and swam nude with me. We used the sauna and hot tub all to our selves then when it was time to leave we dried off and walked nude back to our room passing no one on our way.
The next day we decided to go to the pool in the late afternoon, so this time we both walked down nude and went for a swim, while swimming a few men came and set on the pool deck and were talking to one another not paying any attention to us and minding their business which was fine. Then they left and a cleaning lady came in as we walked to the hot tub and told us she would be cleaning the sauna in a few minutes so if we wanted to wait she would be done soon. So we went back to the pool deck and laid out on some towels and just then a tour bus showed up and around 50 people came walking into the pool area carring luggage and were waiting to check in to their rooms. So we got up and went into the pool hoping they would leave soon.
While in the pool the cleaning lady came walking thru and took our towels thinking they were no longer being used and left the pool area. So as we waited a few of the bus traveler decided to join us in the pool only they changed into swimsuits. Then even more came to sit on the side of the pool and some noticed we were nude and we could here comments. Eventually one lady came over to us speaking German and we said we didn't understand, then she changed to English and started to scold us on being nude!! Just then the girl who had given us the tour came in to start checking the new visitors into their rooms and smiled and said hello to us and asked how we were enjoying our stay? We said it was nice and told her our situation so she went and got us fresh towels so we got out and dried off and when finished dropped the towels into a basket on our way back to our room.
Later in the evening we went back to use the hot tub so as we walked down the hallway we passed a few guests and smiled. We got to the pool area which was empty once again then went into the hot tub. A few minutes later about 10 people from the tour bus came into the pool area all wearing swimsuits and after 15 minutes in the hot tub we were getting to hot so we decided to go for it and walked out into the pool area and went for a swim. A few people smiled and said hello, and we had a few stares. We even had a few remove their swimsuits once they saw us

flsmoothieMar 31, 2017Yes and no. During a business trip to L.A., a coworker and I decided to go to San Francisco for the weekend. To save money, we shared a room. I didn't mind being nude in front of him, as I had changed, showered, and swam nude with at least 100 other boys in school. But, as this was 1990, I was concerned about him seeing I had shaved genitals. Therefore, I made my nude time as short as possible.
Now, for the rest of the story. A few years later we somehow discovered we both enjoyed being nude. (It may have had to do with Haulover Beach, as we lived in South Florida.) He had a house with a private pool. He, his girlfriend, and I spent a lot of time nude around his pool and in his house.

Everyone that knows us knows I am a lifelong nudist (raised nude). Never an issue. We know who is and who is not comfortable with that. Those who are not, I am forced to put on shorts or something. Those that are comfortable with it, I stay nude if it's warm. No issue.

RyanDec 29, 2019My husband and I were hanging out with two good friends one time, a guy and a girl, and it somehow came up that we were nudists (but not them). They were both shockingly accepting and even said we could be nude around them if we want. I probably asked them both, "Are you sure...?" about three times each, but they really didn't mind. So, my hubby and I got naked. We ended up playing Xbox Kinect Sports nude in front of them even LOL! We all had lots of giggles at all our flopping around and such. They both weren't the slightest bit interested in getting nude themselves. Another time, just the guy friend was hanging out with us, and he once again didn't mind us being nude. I'm still kinda in shock about that especially since he's straight too. What would his friends think about him sitting on the couch watching shows next to two nekkid dudes, I had thought. He really didn't care though. Pretty cool of them both =]
