As the title says. Has anyone noticed a sudden uptick in friends request? Now what i find a little curious is that it's mostly women. I always check the profile and see if they have been on the site for at least 7 months and that they have some kind of pictures. But i am wondering what the deal is with this. Why suddenly so many females want to become friends and chat via messages?

SteveJul 1, 2025Just got a friend request from a woman who's been on exactly seven months. Wonder if that's some kind of filter cutoff? Obviously fake, because: Way younger than me; no meaningful communication, just a hello; model-gorgeous; and - somewhat paradaoxically - no nudes. Remember that one has to identify oneself to post nudes these days

alupstateJul 1, 2025Most are fake. I have received several who just created an account and now they "want to get to know me better. " Different women with virtually the same email. I flag several every week as fakes.

I do a daily review of the 'Feed' and look for frauds; they are way too prevalent. The really obvious ones get a 'Flag & Report' but I think Team True might have skipped the country. They, for sure, have completely abandoned their duties here on TN. I do wonder in their recently 'hired' new girl moderator is still around or if she's left. I'm not convinced she wasn't a bot or AI herself. We've been left just like the IX legion & left to the hordes.

TallerJul 2, 2025100% Spam/Scammers... young, objectively attractive women do not need to actively seek out male friends or attention in nudist or textile spaces. It's all very obvious, but what's shocking is the amount of guys who accept these friend requests! I always run thru their friends list and see if there are any mutuals, and there are always a few. But wow, there are some thirsty men on this site somehow deluded that a 22yo bombshell with weird grammar wants to "get to know you better."

nudusJul 2, 2025this has been going on for months - maybe years - when I first started getting them, I deleted the friend request but some would send a message - then I could not delete them - if I did, they reappeared - so I gave up and just ignore them - I have better things to do

I just had one person ask me if i use WhatsApp. And was almost adamant that i should use. Kind of a red flag me. But much of what others have said about these requests has made me take notice as well. From now op unless i see nude pictures in the profile and in their media tab. That I can confirm aren't fake, i will just delete the request. It doesn't seem worth it to give these weirdos any of my time.

AlJul 3, 2025I have also been inundated with friend requests from women that have nothing in their profile, very recently joined. I never get very far with investigating. My guess is that a lot of the scammers are repeat--get booted and rejoin with a new email. I wonder if it's really that lucrative--how many guys are actually engaging with them, sending money, getting blackmailed, etc. Doesn't seem like it would be very productive.

What peed me off the other day on another nude site, I had a friend request just very short message -
"Hi how you doing",
I thought I'll be polite and say "good great thanks"
Another short reply "do you like the hot weather"
So for the next half hour I wrote a quite a long letter, no reply after 4 days why do they bother to send a request and do nothing about it.

One has to view a profile to determine if you want to send friend request

I say unfortunate because back in the day before bots and scammers, I had some good discussions with younger women. Now, even with women who seem real, I've started to feel like I was conversing with an AI.

Yes, exactly same situation here. These phonies usually have accounts that have been opened in the last few days. Has anyone noticed that the member names always seem to include a random sequence of letters and numbers? e.g. Suzie 162-ag

DaveJul 8, 2025These Nigerian scammers are good at using psychology to get you hooked. A few years ago I got snookered by a bunch of hot ladies. But once I learnt about Tineye search, I realized that the pics were all stolen from porn star websites.

I think it may correlate with the number of friends you keep because they scour friends lists. I wouldnt be surprised if the ones getting a dozen requests are guys that have many many friends.ReactReply

They also join popular groups and target people who post. And they also target people who have just signed on using the search function. I'll often get a friend request or message within minutes of signing on. Finally, you have to fit the profile of someone who would fall for their scam. If you have friended a lot of other fake profiles, that might make you a target. One time I friended a profile that I thought was real, but must of be a master fake. For days after that I was flooded by messages and requests.
