Can we have a second chat room please? — General Discussion on True Nudists

Just thinking out loud, but I think a second chatroom is now needed on TN.

We should have one for Naturists, and one for people who have their sexuality set to bisexual on their profile...

Controversial?

Maybe, but hear me out... I honestly have no problem with peoples sexuality, you can be whatever you like, it's nothing to do with me, live and let live, there is nothing new under the sun.

I have found tho, that there are a huge number of people in the chatroom that are looking for sex from naturism, and every single time you check a profile its a bisexual man or someone part of a couple with a bisexual partner...

An example, I was chatting the other night to a man who was married, with a non naturist partner, his profile was set to bisexual. The conversation was nothing sexual until he suggested we (my wife and I) meet up for coffee sometime. It quickly transpired that he said coffee, but if sex was on offer he'd be happy to "service" both of us..... err, no where... at no time was it said that were were looking for sex, he just presumed that meeting a naturist couple ... for a coffee... would lead to the bedroom.
So a separate room for all the many many bisexual "women" and bisexual men in relationships would be a huge boon for them, they could chat about coffee and stuff, not bothering the rest of us.

And if you could sort it that, they could not get into the Naturist Chatroom, that would be great.

this is been an problem from the beginning. let me put it this way. your in high school i know long time ago. you and your boyfriend at the time go up the stairs to study but you don't u have sex loud sex. your father is down stairs he can hear it. lets say an hour passes both of u come down stairs and daddy says ah you guys sounded like you had an study session. and the both of you say yes it was intense. daddy expects nothing. that the chat room man want to see other girls naked and try there hardest to impress the few there. it should not matter who naked and why talk to them normal instead like some nice cut of steak. sick of this motion and blindness from this community wake up you lost. and u lost because u did not say an word and now you are living what it has become.

Wicklow, you are correct, the trouble is they are not leaving.

A lot of people are agreeing with Amber, female bisexuals are really, really popular, that chatroom would be buzzing.

Seems like there's enough problems with one Chat Room, why do we need two? Probably the best way to eliminate the problems is to eliminate the Chat Room. That may also remove a lot of the pervs and trolls from the site. These people usually have too much time on their hands, so they find a good place to waste it is in the Chat Room. Should we start a movement to remove the Chat Room from the site?

Desert Rat, like I said the thread is a bit of a laugh, this is not a perfect world, so I doubt the owners will make a naturist chatroom and a second room for all the detritus that are attract to naturism in another.

But it would be amazing if they could, then all the 18 yo bisexual Swedish girls could talk to all the other dirty old men on an even keel.

One chat room is enough. For those who are not happy with the existing circumstances there are two options. One is to tolerate those who you consider below you in morals and ethics or two; leave the site. Personally, I'm not elated by some of the actions of others, however; I'm not in a position to cast the first stone and will therefore accept the site as it currently exists.

No matter how many chat rooms there are, the one where people are not supposed to be sexual will be the place where those whointendto shock and upset folks will appear, and those who can't quite own, to themselves, whatever sexual interest they find in nudism.

I know it's been tried and not a perfect solution but it would be real nice to have a chat room for Certified members only. That would at least reduce the quantity of creeps.

A few thoughts:

It would reduce the attractiveness of the site. The attractive aspects of the site include that there are large numbers about. If you do not like the chat room leave. It is the internet, all you have to do is accept it is a public space and there is very little in the way of entry controls. The same issue happens on some beaches, people doing all sorts of stuff in the dunes is quite common. The swinger site is there and used a lot. Since it exists just refer people to that if they are outrageous..

Also it would not solve the problem.

I do find it interesting though that I have seen people get uptight about "TRUE nudist" what ever that means and then seen the same people with the same user name on TS having a tug on camera. I wonder if they are so inclined to behave on beaches? In short there is a deal of hypocrisy about.

Another thing I have noticed is a number who seem to get on forums and indulge in self-righteous priggery, including trying to shout down discussion on the sex and sexuality board.

If you open up a chat and it goes sexual you have a choice to either say no or not.If there is a possibility of a meet i want to know what the expectations and agenda is. To that extent id some one says they are bi or whatever useful. It is not realistic to insist that sexuality is unimportant and has no place in nudism. It has a place in normal social life. if you are gay you do not want to socialise, in all likelihood with homophobes. If you are disturbed by gay or bi people again you need to avoid them socially.

Information and as much openness as can be managed is good. I want more not less. In the past I have met someone who assumed that sex would be available and been placed in the unexpected and uncomfortable position of being groped as soon as I got naked. This on a coffee and chat meet with a man slightly older than me who insisted he was straight in chats beforehand. If he had raised the issue that he was into a bit of male action we could have dealt with the issue ahead of time and laid out expectations.

Final thought, there are cultural differences about. A dominant few seem to assume the American culture is universal. This is apparent even if they challenge the rules. I have seen cultural differences in the UK as well. Have you noticed that the Scottish Naked Bike rides were not allowed to be totally naked? The attitude there is that it would be shocking. In England it is seen as a bit of a laugh.

so please people, more information and some tolerance please.

WoW!!! a second one....geeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. The blues (Guys) outnumber the women/cpls in the room already and if ya go to TS or NCH its the same there. I have no issues with it but as soon as ya say Hi the pm's and the pestering is terrible. Yes as you say loads of bi and gay but have no issues with that unless you have cam on and then it starts. Thinking out loud one chat room is enough

It is not necessarily a given that someone who is bisexual would abuse the chat room in this manner. I am bisexual, but I would never use the chat room for this reason.

Fleet, as previously stated, this thread was started with my tongue firmly in my cheek, which means it's not to be taken too seriously.

If there is a point to it, then it's this.

The fact that you are bisexual is irrelevant at a non sexual website (which this is)

I seen someone in the chatroom recently and their member name was made up of three parts... Sexual preference/religion/gender..... Why wold those be the first three things I need to know about someone?

If I'm meeting someone for the first time, I'd like to know their name first.

I think we need to take away at least 21100 posts from Mr Dicklow as I'me sure they are all repetitive with the wordFLAGGEDand in bold too.
I mean come on, over 20k posts in 4 years and all mainlyFLAGGED, I've been a member on this website 6 months longer than you and have less than 200 posts and not one of those isFLAGGED, but all my opinion on wide ranging subjects, but I do have quite a few about the censorship that some what on this website.
The nudist movement in the UK is dying, it is dying because the nudist who what to censor everyone is killing it, they openly encourage young women or single mothers and fathers and their kids to join their sunclubs, but abhor single guys and gay men equally, they are sexist, homophobic and bigoted. From what I've seen of nudism in Europe it is open to all, no one is shunned, no is stopped from enjoying a nudist lifestyle, I don't know, maybe it's an age thing, I'm of an age where I believe people can do as they like as long as it doesn't impact on others enjoyment, not all nudist are closed minded as the prudes are on this website and we won't turn our backs on people because they like to do something we don't. If I meet a swinging couple, doesn't mean I'm not going to talk to them because I don't like what they do, as I've said that their domain to worry about, not mine, doesn't mean I won't chat with them.
I've chatted with quite a few gay guys on here, some are a bit over the top saying that want to do this or that, I just laugh and say something like at least someone wants to do that to me, I mean, get the fuck over yourselves, no one is forcing you to look at, chat to or read anything you don't want to do. Going out of your way to cause trouble is worse in my eyes than the people you are accusing.
We should beFLAGging the likes of you for being rude to people.
