Jul 27, 2026Leaving the Wildwood boardwalk on Saturday, I saw someone wearing a shirt that said I hate tan lines.
I commented that I did too, and he replied something like what he really hated was clothes.
I asked if he ever goes to Gunnison, and he said he does not, but used to go to Higbee when it was an unofficial clothing optional beach.

Higbee remains an unofficial nude beach. It is very quiet and, obviously, it isn't as open an environment because you need to be mindful that random people walking along the beach may not be nude-friendly. However, I met some cool people there the one time I checked it out in 2024.

At one of my high school reunions, one of the rangers at Higbee whose duties including enforcing the new policy was in attendance, as well as a few people who he had told to cover.ReactReply
