I would be willing to wager the use of public lands for recreational nudism has NEVER been discussed by ANY president.

She was making a joke to demean Trump but she inadvertently stated what everyone has always known; that Obama is a Moslem. His whole time in the White House, he has NEVER attended an official Christian service such as a funeral, prayer group nor the afore mentioned Al Smith Charity Dinner hosted by Cardinal Dolan. He discontinued the White House prayer breakfasts and replaced them with some Islamic services. Every Christmas he headed for Hawaii where he didn't have to pretend to celebrate Christmas. As a practicing Moslem he removes all of his jewelry during Ramadan. I believe that he just used his Christian faith only for political cover. All of this really doesn't matter now in that he will be gone in just a few weeks and we have a lot of better things to look forward to, like getting nudism accepted world wide as an acceptable life style for all who choose this wonderful, free and open way of life.

The founders of our country created a country with a basis of "freedom of religion". Some of the founders were Christian, some were diests, some were agnostic. So, my question is...since the US is not a Christian nation, does not have an official religion and constitutionally can't discriminate based up on religion...what would be the big deal if President Obama, or any other president was Muslim?   All of the bluster about Obama is silly. He had his eight years, and he failed on many fronts.
  He reignited racial tension unseen since the sixties.
  He oversaw a massive increase in dependency on government handouts.
  He annihilated the quality of life for Middle Class America.
  He doubled the national debt.
  He leveled our standing in the world to equality with Russia and China.
  He perpetuated the spread of Islamic terrorism.
  He presided over the collapse of the Democrat Party. Ok; that's a very good thing, but still a failure of his leadership.
  He is personally popular (afterall, it would be racist to not like him), but whenever his agenda was on the ballot without him, he has been resoundingly defeated. The man has squandered an enormous opportunity because of his politically opportunistic nature, and we have all paid a heavy price for it. He will go down in history as one of the worst presidents in history.
  The election of Donald Trump along with the preservation of Republican majorities in both houses of Congress and across many states means we are very close to being able to enact reform on a Constitutional level. Like a Constitutional amendment to have a balanced budget and term limits. Most importantly, we should see a Constitutionally sound Supreme Court for a generation to come.
  This has been a huge change in the direction of our country. Instead of the middle class citizen being overlooked, it is the political elite that are about to become endangered species. Hopefully extinct in the halls of power.

The Republicans in congress were not as effective as they should have been, but the greatest increases in the debt occurred when Obama had control of both houses. (Obama's FY2012 budget proposal called for doubling the debt in five years, and tripling it in ten years.) The actual increases diminished over time when the Republicans gained control of at least the House. Now the ball is in their court fully. Time will tell, but at least Obama won't be in office.

Like a Constitutional amendment to have a balanced budget and term limits. Most importantly, we should see a Constitutionally sound Supreme Court for a generation to come.
  This has been a huge change in the direction of our country. Instead of the middle class citizen being overlooked, it is the political elite that are about to become endangered species. Hopefully extinct in the halls of power.Andy is correct.  You are posting baseless crap.  You are trolling.  You either have a very closed mind or are oblivious to fact.  Trump wants to substantially increase spending on infrastructure and defense while also giving the majority of his tax cuts to the wealthy.  You blame Obama for doubling the national debt yet you conveniently ignore the facts that Obama had to pay for the wars that Bush started but did not pay for.  More importantly, Trump's programs will increase the national debt by 10 times!  Trump is staffing extremists who plan to destroy the EPA, decimate the clean air and water acts, and remove all rules and regulations for coal, oil, natural gas.  We will go back to the pre-Nixon days where our rivers, lakes, and streams were toxic sewers and our air was full of filth from leaded gasoline, asbestos, and industrial pollution.  I can go and on with fact but you most likely will ignore all of it and continue to spew your baseless opinions all in order to incite people here - classic trolling.

  I'll have to come back when I have time to address some of the issues bounced back to me for a response. I look forward to the discussions; particularly with those who do so with a good-hearted approach. I get that we aren't going to agree or change each others' mind but that isn't the point. If you don't get that and just want to rant, so be it. I'll tolerate some of that and banter with you till it becomes a bore, then I'll just ignore you.
  Regarding trolling--those attacks come from the leftist position that supports political correctness, 'safe spaces', etc. and rather than engaging in fundamentally American political discourse and banter, the attackers aim to stifle opinions that they disagree with; to them, I say as my friend Andy so skillfully phrased it---grow up. We're all adults, and there's no need to get your panties in a wad over a friendly discussion. I have a lot of liberal friends, and sadly, some of them are like some of the folks here. They let their emotions get the best of them and fail to enjoy the debate.
