NaturismRE is conducting the Standardised Stigma Measure (SSM), an ongoing international research initiative examining public attitudes toward naturism, non-sexual nudity, social acceptance, stigma, legal interpretation, and cultural perceptions.

The current primary data collection phase concludes on 31 May 2026, but the research itself will continue as a permanent long-term project.

We are seeking participation from:

Naturists
Nudists
Former naturists
Non-naturists
Supporters
Critics
Anyone interested in sharing their perspective

The survey is anonymous and takes only a few minutes to complete.

The objective is not advocacy, but understanding how different people and cultures perceive non-sexual nudity and naturism.

Results will contribute to future public reports, comparative analyses, and research publications.

Survey:

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to this growing international dataset.

I have completed the survey. I wish you well as I crave for a legal CO beach in Queensland and the simple right to be nude in my own backyard without fear of judgement or prosecution

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and for sharing your perspective.

Your comment highlights an important aspect of the broader discussion surrounding naturism and non-sexual nudity. For many people, the issue is not simply about recreation, but also about social acceptance, legal clarity, and personal freedom.

One of the objectives of the Standardised Stigma Measure (SSM) is to better understand these experiences, perceptions, and concerns across different regions, cultures, and legal environments.

Thank you again for contributing to the research and for supporting constructive discussion on these topics.
