  I have inadvertently answered the door that way.  We had some nudist guests, one had to go back to the car to bring in something.  The door bell rang and I just opened it to find the paperboy there looking for his weekly $.   It was not the guest who came back in shortly thereafter.

  It seems to me the people that expose themselves to a textile person on purpose, it just like a textile flasher.  They like to get a reaction from the other person.

  i was laying in the living room with the front door open and was getting ready to get up and move to another room where i could be nude when the doorbell rang, when i answered the door it was a census worker wanting to ask questions since i didn't mail my form back needless to say if she would have been five minutes later i  would have been nude, maybe that would have scared the government from intruding on me.. well if she returns i'm ready.

  Im the same way, If i know who is comming over depending on who it is i will not get dressed. Most of my close friends know I am a nudist and are nude at home. Some join me, others dont care and there a few who i have to get dressed for. I have answerd the door nude, on occasion, 1} I knew who it was. 2} i did not have anything handy to cover up, luckly it was one of my friends the other time it was the Religious types. Need less to say, they never have came back.  The ups and fedx guyes know me and really dont care one way or thea other.

  Can't open the door nude here  in Saigon as it opens directly onto a busy street with a noodle shop and a coffee shop directly opposite, so there is a pair of shorts I can slip on or same shorts and a top my wife can slip on if we need to answer the door.

  I am a nudist and would prefer to be nude 24/7 if I could. However I am a human being and do have a feeling of respect for others. It is not my mission in life to knowingly try to shock others with my nudity. As far as I can see there is nothing to be gained by answering the door nude. I also feel it is my right not to answer my door if someone unexpectantly comes knocking.

  I wish I had the balls to answer the door nude lol! I always have a pair of basketball shorts by the door just in case someone knocks.

  I have mostly when we are camping at nude resorts, and even though nudity is expected it is still a interesting experiance when you open the door because we have 4 steps up into our 5th wheel and when you open the door whoever is outside it looking right up the front of your body and nothing is out of view

  Are we the only ones that live in a very conservative area that intentionally answering the door nude would most likely end up in some type of stink?

  I sometimes answer the door nude, but I usually throw a T-Shirt on or keep a sarong/kaftan by the door. It depends how organised I am and how much time I have. I would have no problem answering the door nude all the time but I don't think society in general is very accepting.

  [/quote]We live in very liberal Massachusetts and intentionally answering the door nude is likely to land you on the sexual offender list. But since liberals are so very tolerant, they may cut you a break and only make you a level one offender which will only ruin your life completely. It won't publish your name and address for everyone to see like a level 2 or 3 would get.

  will answer the door naked if it is one of my nudist friends. i always check first and keep a pair of shorts handy. however once a propane guy came to the house to check on the tank unannounced. for whatever reason he knocked on the back door which is in direct view of the den. he got an eyeful of me and a friend relaxing nude watching movies
