riverbeach55Nov 23, 2016I for one do not like the new format at all. As a certified member I vote to change it back! I can't get much to work. I can't even change my profile photo! Lame :(

KohaanNov 23, 2016It's really ANNOYING how often my comments fail to be posted, even AFTER the note says it WAS successfully posted! :-/Update, Dec. 1, 2016... Things are improving... at least, for me. I was able to make a comment in one of my *Groups* .... and see it posted, immediately after I *Saved* the changes. ... But I still have to make a detour to *edit* anything thereReactReply - MEMemberNov 23, 2016
I've just written a few posts and they showed up correctly, I even edited one after re-reading and everything worked fine. Bit by bit, the bugs appear to be disappearing, it even identified me correctly this time as Butt Naked.

StevieLornaNov 23, 2016It's far to hard to keep track of stuff now.
I'll give it a few weeks see if they iron out the bugs, if not...

OllyNov 23, 2016This site has a long way to go before it is as good as the one it replaced. I'm in TN for the group discussions. When I post a reply to a discussion topic my reply just vanishes. What is the point?]!!!!
ReactReply - MEMemberNov 23, 2016[quote]I am a non-paid member as well and am very upset with the changes last week. The six picture limit in the galleries of my groups is heart breaking and a real deal breaker for me. Nearly all my pictures i have taken especially just to post in my groups are no longer visible to me or to all the other non paid members of TN. This the core off TN. the sister group True Swingers is the same deal and it was my favorite site of all. soon, after 3 years on both sites, i will be deleting my account there as well.I will hold on a while longer to see if this huge business mistake is corrected butt i will be deleting both accounts if i continue to not be happy here. My apologies to the paid members many of whom know me.also the groups i help co-moderate will need new co-moderators. folks interested in helping should contact groups creators.[/quote]
Say it ain't so Creek! You are my best left handed, right hand man on some of these groups . . . smile. I don't like the new format neither, but alas? it seems as though the ones who dislike it most are "us" non-paid members . . .to which I refer to my originating on here and I just think. "You get what you pay for." . . . hell, it's free, I ain't gonna complain. I don't know of any other sites as user friendly, I don't search mind you, just the way I've reckoned it to be. Hang in there. I don't think they'll ever change back to how it was . . . and it's not that awful . . . awful.ReactReply - MEMemberNov 23, 2016[quote]When I post a reply to a discussion topic my reply just vanishes.[/quote] Please try clearing your cache. Encouraging development. I've just posted in a group and was able to upload a photo into the discussion post. Will try it here as well, for illustration purposes. (NOTE: I don't have nude pics stored on my computer at present, am posting a travel photo.)

BobNov 24, 2016I have been an application developer for almost 40 years.
What I would like to see with your comments is what are you using to get to the web site.
I have not had the problems most of you are citing. I use a Microsoft Surface Pro running Windows 10 using Chrome and a cellphone running Windows 8.1.
The web site now formats the pages better for the mobile device.
Please state if you are using a Windows PC, an Apple PC, an Android cellphone or tablet or an Apple cellphone or tablet. If you are using a PC, what browser are you using.
The problems may be with the way the device works with the web site.
If the developer knows what you are using then they may be able to reproduce the probem and fix it.

MikeNov 24, 2016Like any change, it takes a while to unlearn old habits. The old format was very difficult yet some did not realize that because they just knew how to work with it.
The new format is a strong step in the right direction. It needed to be done.
Try not to be negative until you have given yourself time for a fair trial.ReactReply - MEMemberNov 24, 2016
Please bring back the old non-beta setup. This setting is not user friendly. If it remains with the beta setup, I for one will not be renewing my membership.
ReactReply - ELelsgNov 24, 2016
I just got back on this site from a long time ago. The reason I'm actually still here is because the new format is actually usable on mobile.
I left because of that old shitty site, so to hear you guys whining about bringing it back is kind of hilarious. I guess I'll have to pay for a membership to counteract all the "truenudists" who can't figure out how to use a website

This is one of the most infuriating and time-wasting 'improvements', it's happened to me too Olly, approx 80-90% of the time I click on 'save changes/or similar' my response/message disappears into the TN ether. Because of the way that the new version of the site is coded I can't reload the page and retrieve what I've just typed as I can with the way that other sites are built either.
Referring to the above request for information on what those complaining here are using to access TN; if you put mobile phone platforms to one side, coding so as a site works on all of the main browsers is not such a big issue as it used to be say +10 years ago, so surely a reputable web designer/developer should be able to cope with building a site that more or less works from the off post-beta. I'm here today on Cyberfox with a lot of privacy and security plug-ins enabled, using proxies and a VPN, previously I got nowhere with that browser and the same settings after the re-launch, so there are changes happening behind the scene, principally changes that should have been made at the very latest while still in beta. I've also used Opera, Firefox, Konqueror, Epiphany and Vivaldi on Windows 7 and 10, Mac and various Linux flavours with variable degrees of success, varying from day to day, sometimes with an improved user experience, sometimes with a worse one compared to previous attempts to do basic things like log in. Please don't tell me that TN are taking us back 20 years or so and we have to use a certain browser to log-in and use the site, that was a time when you'd see 'optimised to work with IE' on some sites.ReactReply - FL
flynude1Nov 24, 2016Made a new topic a few days ago in legal issues. Only has a "cancel" or "save changes" button. no "post" so it went nowhere. Didn't save anything either

ConnorNov 24, 2016[quote]Only has a "cancel" or "save changes" button. no "post" ...[/quote] It's a bit confusing but "save changes" is the equivalent of POST or SUBMIT. Maybe someday "save changes" becomes POST OR SUBMIT and "Already a Member?" becomes "Member Login" or just "Sign In".ReactReply - KO
KohaanNov 24, 2016Hello... Testing... 1-2-3 ... Amazing... Looks like it's working here... Right now , this is the only place I can post anything... Tried several times to post in various groups... Sometimes a pop-up window would say... message posted successfully... Would you like to go back to the discussion? ...It didn't matter what I tried, no post ever appeared in the groups... I even switched from Chrome to Ice Dragon ... same result. Can anyone explain why this is happening? If I can post here, shouldn't it work everywhere?
[strong]Update:[/strong] 5 hrs later... All my failed attempts have appeared for the one [strong]group[/strong] I tried to post in today... but the edit button disappeared, so I can't delete the duplicates... Maybe it was never there... Is this a joke? ... This is really getting complicated. Quantum physics is starting to look simple compared to this. [strong]:-/[/strong]
[strong]Update[/strong]- 11.25.16 ... It now looks like my comments are posted about an hour after I click on the *save* button in my groups... but the *EDIT* button is no longer available, even for comments made before format change , so mistakes are THERE to stay, while edits here- in the forum- are still possible, as you can see.
Update12.08.16 ... I tried, for the 1st time, to post a picture with a text comment, in a group... when I clicked on *save* I saw ... *You do not have appropriate permission to complete this action* ... then the software posted the comments twice and the pictures on only one of them... Tried to delete the extra one without the pix and got the message, again. So, we'll see if it disappears later. [strong]:-/[/strong]ReactReply - TE

This
should be at the bottom of all your posts. It is present in mine
If you don't have the edit/delete function at the bottom of your posts, here's an [strong]alternative way[/strong] of[strong]DELETING GROUP POSTS[/strong].
1. Go to your profile
2. Look at your Feed. Your feed contains link to your posts. Click the one you want to DELETE.
3. It will take you to that group page. Your post will be Highlighted in [strong]BLUE[/strong] and the EDIT and DELETE function available.
4. At the bottom of your post, you'll see DELETE.ReactReply - MEMemberNov 25, 2016[quote]Hello... Testing... 1-2-3 ... Amazing... Looks like it's working here... I'm seeing an 'Edit' button in the group discussions today but not on the forum threads. It might help if the 'edit', 'save changes' etc buttons were highlighted better, they're only slightly off white in the browsers I use, I was told to consider users with poor eyesight when I was taught website design. There are other navigation issues mentioned here by users that could be improved by better use of colour.
"...shouldn't it work everywhere?" On some sites yes, on many others not necessarily so. In the past many sites would have used a fairly standard version of something like BBCode for text based parts of the site, today there are many more mark up languages available for coding discussion areas on sites from scratch and more WYSWYG software, so there are more possible outcomes and more reasons why there are differences.ReactReply - MEMemberNov 26, 2016[quote]I have been an application developer for almost 40 years. Have been able to post/edit in Groups (although it still lists me as "Textile" sometimes). Perhaps the light at the end of the Tunnel is that it appears we'll be able to include pics with our discussion posts, so we can refer to them as we post. (examples below) In addition, we can still add them to the Group photos, which gives some nice options for photo posting.ReactReply

KohaanNov 27, 2016Thanks Connor, for that detailed procedure . I think it worked. ... But it sure is a convoluted process. ...Also, I noticed there are two ways to access *My Feed* ... 1 in the *drop down* under my name, and 1 by clicking on the *Home* icon. Sometimes I get my friends updates and sometimes I get MY updates... but I can find what I want after a while. ... It's not nearly as simple as it was before, but at least it's possible. BTW, I'm using an HP-PC 64 bit, with Windows 7 and typically use a Chrome browser ... or Comodo Ice Dragon as an alternate. My Legacy programs -- Win 98/Me-- were not compatible with W7 when I bought this PC, so I'm waiting for a while before I upgrade again to W-10, lest everything quits working again:-/ReactReply - JO
