"New Improved Format"

I am finding this new format for the Forums very difficult to follow. It is very confusing. Is anyone else having similar problems? The games are no longer fun because they are becoming so difficult to use. Are these changes really necessary. Remember the old saying; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I would like the owner to explain these changes and why they are necessary. I see that we have a few more bells and whistles but I was wondering if they just couldn't be added to the old format and not create a whole, new format. It's like throwing the baby out with the bath water. DesertRat

    I noticed that almost all time stamps for various posts and activities (everything in My Feed) say "Just now", but later I found that this problem only occurs with Firefox on (Debian) Linux. Time stamps are OK with Firefox on Windows and Android, and with Chrome on the same Debian/Linux box.

    It's terrible. Site should tell their webmaster to back out the change and return to the original format.

Some places the timestamps work, but most say "just now" John aka cobeachbum

    My post in this topic shows up in My Feed, but none of the following posts do. Is there some way to subscribe or follow a forum topic so I get notified in My Feed and/or by email? I don't see a setting for this.

I tried using Safari on my Mac and got the same results. Chrome on my Mac works correctly. I went ahead and filed a bug report, but am using Chrome for now on the Mac. The iPad is a different story. All browsers use the same Safari engine, so all the browsers I try still show "Just Now" for everything.

    I find that many things that didn't work before work now, or at least are improved, but the navigation is nearly hopeless. For example, the same icon used for different purposes, just to name one.

    Have to agree that this new format is terrible. I find it hard to believe that Just Now for the past month is still Just Now. Come on folks please fix the issues and let this work like it is supposed to. Apparently the beta version was just as bad and so far I have not seen anything fixed. Terrible.

    Anybody who has the JustNow problem, please post your OS and browser names and version to help the programmer zero in and fix this problem.

    I still see the "Just Now" with Internet Explorer running on Windows 10 desktop on a Microsoft Surface Pro and Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile 8.1 on a Samsung cellphone.

    New Improved Format.
    It list the first of April is it?

    I hate this current format, I can't get into chat now. It just pops a message up "join for free" then reverts back To my feed page.
    The font is too small and I can't change it.
    Search function does the same as chat.
    If it doesn't improve soon I won't be here long.
    The pink colour scheme and error picture makes me cringe,

    Don't you guys test you systems before you implement them?

My paid subscription just expired. Will I pay for this? HAHAHAHA!!!

    ausmanvic, Chat works for me using Chrome without Flash on Linux (the HTML5 chat), and Firefox with Flash on Linux and Windows 7.

    Thanks Sailing now, I am using a Tablet and it used to work now it doesn't so I give up.

    It appears that it could be an IE issue. I have IE 11 with Win10 and this issue is always there. However going to Google Chrome and the dates and times appear to be correct.
    I can see an issue with IE 11 since that version has had issues with different things since it was released by Microsoft.

    Hey, I've launched a bunch of small tweaks and fixes. If you are experiencing things like "Just now" for all timestamps, please clear your cache or and try accessing the site again. Some users may still have the old javascript cached.

    Umm, BTW, it's kinda annoying that when I post to this discussion, and choose "Return to discussion", it goes back to the very first page instead of to the last page (16 at the moment) where I was when I submitted a reply.

    I submitted the following using the "Report a Bug" button at the top of every page but I thought I'd post it here for others to see and comment on (or report again ;-).

However, if I navigate to any other user's page, and click on their tabs, the titles are still "My Feed", "My Media", "My Friends", etc. This is very confusing! These titles should say something else, such as "Their Media", or for user Mary71, "Mary71's Media", etc.[/quote]
