On July 10th, we will be visiting Gunnison beach at Sandy Hook, in New Jersey for the day along with several others here. If you're in the vicinity and would like to join us, post to this thread. Let's make a day of it and all get to meet each other in reality. Details and updates will be posted on this thread. This is a great opportunity for all you who haven't actually met someone from this site, as well as trying social nudity if you haven't and single males with no restricitions, as well as old friends spending a day in the sun. Get there early, leave late...

If you have windscreens, chairs be sure to bring them. And don't forget your SUNSCREEN. Weather updates, and RSVP's.

From 7:30 in the
morning until sunset, a group of members from TrueNudists, came and went during
the course of the day at Gunnison Beach in Sandy Hook, NJ, on Sunday, July
10th. Everyone got to meet 'in person,'
and in reality, 'real members and nudists' from this site.
Some members (who
may be listed as singles), brought along significant others or relatives, for everyone
else to meet and other members introduced friends who aren't a part of this
site. During the day as members came and
left, members of our group expanded the number of new friendships or acquaintances with over 42
people.
In addition, this
was a great 'coming out' for a few who had never experienced nudism among such a
large crowd of nudists, never having had been to a nude beach, or just simply
experiencing their first SOCIAL nudism venue.
The weather was
perfect, 85 degrees, pure sun all day, water temps were absolutely right on the
mark, and the biting sand flies stayed at bay. Everyone, irregardless of any
kind of 'status, label, or orientation' got along just fine.
Just want to extend a big THANK YOU to EVERYONE who 'made the effort' and came out to spend part of, or the
whole day, just to join us at Gunnison on the 10th. If YOU missed it, it WAS the perfect beach
day! This get together was SUCH a
success, that we're thinking of planning another one towards the end of the
summer!

Sounds like it was a great time for the TN members who showed up. Meeting TN members in real life = priceless.... I just wish someone would set up a Midwest Gathering

If everyone waits for SOMEONE to do something, then NO ONE will do it, and it'll never happen; Start sending out messages, forum posts, contacting others, and YOU pick up the ball and run with it....YOU just have to MAKE IT happen....

Wish I could have been there and was planning to but my Dad was recently released from the hospital again and I needed to be with him. Hope you do plan another trip soon. David

We are planning a get together the first weekend after Labor Day in September. September is the BEST month of the year to be at Gunnison because all of the tourists go home, parking is much easier to find, and the beach quiets down to locals.

Seeing that this thread is over 5 years old, it would probably be a good idea to add a year posted to this type of post. Would eliminate a lot of confusion in subsequent years.
