Freehiking in La Quinta, CA USA

I'm a recent resident of La Quinta, I'm curious about nude hiking the trails in the cove. There are miles of trails in the Boo Hoff/Cove Oasis/Bear Creek area that I have yet to explore. I'm wondering if anyone out there with experience can comment on hiking the trails nude, running into textiles, critters, etc.
