AndrewApr 20, 2010I've done a long break in participating in this everlasting game. Amazed to see that it still works. 1 923 words by now.
Would be easier to handle if our dear master of ceremonies, Jen, made a stop of part 19 and made a restart with Part 20. 27 pages now in part 19, easier to handle less pages.ReactReply - MA
MartinApr 20, 2010might it be easire to start the link again? How about a new word?NARK//contiueReactReply - MEMemberOriginal PosterApr 21, 2010
Hi Andy, and welcome back to the game! No need for a part 20...there is a link right on the front page that says "LAST PAGE" highlighted in blue. If you click on that it takes you to the last page!

AndrewApr 21, 2010The previous post didn't show at first, page 28 was not available. My adding of "FOSS" was done twice, but instead of leaving two identical posts I edit one of them to this post.

p.s. We're up to 2016 words and 17 months of play!
ReactReply - MEMemberOriginal PosterJun 17, 2010
For the game to continue, we'll have to go back three words and make a change. Is everyone okay with that? If not, the game is officially over after 17 months and 2036 words...
Let me know!ReactReply - MEMemberOriginal PosterJun 26, 2010

DesperadoJun 27, 2010Has anyone figured out which word used so far has the most Scrabble points?
ReactReply - DE
DesperadoJun 28, 2010Each letter has a point value. Add the four point amounts and rank them. :) lots of words :(
I MIGHT GIVE IT A SHOT.ReactReply - MEMemberOriginal PosterJun 28, 2010
Off the top of my head I would guess it would be QUIZ - 22 scrabble points.

To check if a word has already been used, hit control F, a "Find" box will appear on your tool bar, type the word in there.

DesperadoJun 29, 2010FYI: another use of "Ctrl F" is to type only three of the four letters. This way you can find all of the similar words already used (they will be highlighted in sequence), and then see if there are others that could be used. Try it for FACE by finding "ACE" w/ Ctrl F. Helps to quickly see what words might work by identifying previous words easily. If you have the OSPD website open at the same time, the process is even smoother. :) :) :)

DesperadoJul 10, 2010I recall that there are 11,400 +/- four-letter words in the OSPD. Has anyone verified this?
