Since the powers that be, have graciously decided to delete the ever popular "Song Title Chain" thread. We will now start a new one. I was able to find an archive copy on the web, to recover the original rules. I did make an edit or two. If anyone has anything to add, we will take it in to consideration.

Song Title Chain
Here are the rules.
Choose a word from the song title in the previous posting,
Using that EXACT word post a different song title and the artist who recorded it.
PleaseUNDERLINEthe word you use from the previous posting.
If you cannot underline the word, put (brackets) around it.
We must know your word of choice.
Please do not post songs with less than 3 word in the titles.
Please use a DIFFERENT word than the one used in the previous posting.

PLEASE NOTE #1 -- YOU MAY USE ANY SOURCE TO FIND A SONG TITLE.
THIS IS NOT A MEMORY GAME.

PLEASE NOTE #2 -- IF SOMEONE SLIPS AN ANSWER IN AHEAD OF YOU,
PICK A WORD FROM THE NEW ENTRY.

PLEASE NOTE #3 -- IF SOMEONE CREATES AN ERROR WITH THEIR POST
IGNORE THE POSTING AND CONTINUE THE GAME FROM THE LAST CORRECT POSTING.

Some samples follow
On the Road Again Willie Nelson
LongRoadto Ruin -- Foo Fighter
In The Time of MyRuin-- Black Francis

I'll start this off -
Before You Accuse Me (You Better Take A Look At Yourself)
- Eric Clapton

I'm going to assume that the Jaybird's are using the word "today" from SouthernFolk's last post, even though they didn't underline it. I'll also assume that they're ignoring mizoka's post, since the word he used was from the artist's name, which SouthernFolk confusingly included three different artists, and not the song title. Given that, I will continue with my entry

Sorry, I didn't mean to post it 3 times. This site is just super slow. It timed out twice before it decided to post it, but it seems it did post it the first 2 times, as well. Sorry.

Sorry.
Yes, and the Delete option disappeared many moons ago. If you are on a desktop, they can be deleted, but it takes some clicking here, then there, then over there to do it. If your interested: Right click on the post and select "inspect" About three lines down from the highlighted line find the line that includes "data owner" and click on the three dots Find the line li class="action owner admin moderator" and right click on it Click Edit Attribute and add the word member between owner and admin and then click in any white space Close the "inspect" screen ("X" in upper right hand corner). The option to delete should now be there. To edit a post, the procedure is the same, but one line up (li class="action owner admin") John aka cobeachbum

Well, I tried. None of what you're saying was there, so I couldn't figure it out. They will stay here. :-)
Sorry, I didn't mean to post it 3 times. This site is just super slow.
