I'm heading down to Big Bend Ranch State Park next week, way into the back country where there should be an opportunity to be free for a couple of days if the weather cooperates. If anyone in West Texas or New Mexico is going to be in the area, let me know. I would enjoy having a beer or whatever and meeting some new folks.

    You shouldn't have any problem finding privacy. LOL. Years ago the Basin was a nice place to camp. It was primitive camping and not a lot of folks around. I understand it has been setup to be a full camping area now with stores and such.
