I went to Coxing Kill stream at Mohonk Preserve in Gardiner NY yesterday.  It was a 2 hour drive and about half way there I said to myself, this is crazy.  Mind you that this was my first legal public place I had ever been to.  They charged $12 for parking.  It was worth it.  As soon as I passed the sign, "Clothing Optional beyond this point" I took off my kilt.  The best thing about it was that I did not have to worry about getting caught.  The people there were friendly. One guy was walking around like he was looking for something.  He said "I haven't seen any snakes yet." I thought he was making a comment about my doinker, but it turned out he was really looking for snakes and he pointed to a snake two minutes later.

The CO section is only about 2 or 3 acres on the river. Very neat place to hang out. The surrounding preserve has many trails and sections to break a sweat then go to the CO area and cool off. I put up some pictures that will be available once they are reviewed.

I was informed by someone who went to Coxing Hill (twice) that no one goes there anymore.  Maybe it is the parking fee that scares people away or people are just not interested in real life nudism?
